Noelle stood in front of the mirror, glaring at her reflection. What the hell had happened to her once perfect hair?

Was it all the stress that was doing this to her hair? It had lost all its shine and it looked like a freaking bird's nest. And not the nest of one of those birds who knew to make pretty nests.

"Or maybe it's because you refuse to comb it out."

Noelle turned out to see Ezekiel smiling at her from the doorway, Jonah beaming at her from his arms.

"My baby!" The she-wolf squealed, her voice extra high-pitched, making her mate flinch while her nephew giggled excitedly as he held his arms out for her to take him.

"Auntie Ellie, let's go for ice-cream!" He exclaimed as soon as he was in Noelle's arms.

"YES!"

"All you both ever eat is chocolate and ice-cream." Ezekiel shook his head, though he was simply jealous that they too had such a great bond, and did not let him tag along for ice-cream.
