We head back to the party, hand in hand. My heart feels so full, and I’ve never been so happy. I look at him and catch him looking at me. I take a deep breath and squeeze his hand; I know all eyes are going to be on us.

               “Little wolf, are you okay?”

               “I’ll be fine, just getting used to all eyes being on me.”

               He laughs, “at least we’ll be by each other’s side.”

               I slow my breathing. He knows how to calm me, be my peace and bring me back. I grab his arm, still holding his hand—I look in his eyes and before I have the chance, he kisses me deeply, like he read my mind.

Last week I was so busy with Christmas and wrapped over 100 presents. I didn't have the time to write or post anything so for the next few days I'll be posting to make up for it.
