I wake slowly, struggling to open my eyes. The sun streaming in through the open windows pushes against my eyelids, and a fresh breeze cools my sweaty body. The air is quiet and clean. Finally managing to drag my lids apart, I turn my head to look at Kane, surprised to see he’s asleep. Kane's POV: I didn’t think I’d be able to fall asleep again, but I do. When I wake several hours after going back to bed, the sun is setting. Shit. I didn’t mean to sleep that long. I don’t know where he showered, but his wet hair hangs across his forehead, and he looks delicious in a pair of jeans and a light blue sweater that accentuates his azure eyes.
