Chapter Three- I can’t believe it

For this dinner, my father gave up his usual spot at the head of the table for the King as he is higher than my father in rank. He stood and had my mother move down on the seat that was reserved for me so I can now sit where my mother always sat next to her mate. Now that I was of a higher rank than my mother, I was able to sit next to my mate in the Luna seat.

It felt strange but I guess it is something that I have to get used to. I think I am going to love being a Luna.

Three days of bliss making love and getting to know my mate. A few hours a day he would go and confer with my father and the others on business. I climbed upstairs to my room and pulled out my phone. One name caught my attention. “Jon Marker.” I whispered.

I called him up and asked if he remembered me and of course he did. I also asked him if he would like to see me again and of course, he would be happy to so we made plans to meet in a private location as I told him I would like to talk to him.

I decided to dress as sexy as I could and snuck out in my secret way out and went to go meet Jon.

Once I got to the hotel, he was waiting for me in a room. I knocked on the door and he answered and smiled at me.

“I need a huge favor from you.” I began as I walked in, and he closes the door behind me.

I smile and explained to him what is happening. And in the middle of explaining, I feel the pain begin all over again. I double over and Jon looks at me with concern. “He is at it again, isn’t he?” He asked as I nod.

He stands in front of me and kneels. “Would you like him to feel what you are feeling right now?”

“And I am here for you.” Then he smiles, “I guess you can say we are friends with benefits.”

I laugh, “Ok, I can accept that.”
