I don’t like when Katrina puts herself down. She is not lesser because she didn’t get a wolf or magic. She’s perfect exactly as she is. And any male would be lucky to be her mate. And so help me if she has a mate out there and he dares to reject her because she’s a hybrid and has no wolf. 

‘We skin him alive and have a new rug in our office.’ Chesed growled. We aren’t often on the same page, but we always manage to agree when it comes to protecting our children. 

And it isn’t just Katrina that we would go to such an extreme to protect from heartbreak. The same goes for any mate who would reject André for being a hybrid and gay. Anyone who cannot see how amazing my children are and count their blessings to be mated to one of them does not deserve to live.
