Chapter 5: Ten Months Later!

"Syl! "Where have you been all this time? I've been looking for you everywhere," Freya asked as soon as she saw Sylvia, adding that she had even called her to wish her 18th birthday, but she had not returned her calls.

"I am sorry; I will explain everything to you but not now; let's take our wages and get out of here," Slyvia said hoarsely. Freya noticed her uneasiness, red eyes, and tired self but refrained from questioning her, instead waiting for Slyvia to tell her on her own. 

Freya took Sylvia to her rented room to celebrate her birthday, gifted her a low-neck dress, and told her to wear it.

"Syl, I bought it as your birthday gift; all you have are your shabby-looking clothes, and if you want to survive in the world, you need to show your sexy body." She exclaimed and kept on rambling, to which Sylvia rolled her eyes and took the dress to wear.

After all, she had nothing left to show in her filthy body. She removed Travis' shirt and gasped as she peered at herself in the mirror. His tooth marks and hickeys covered her entire body.

Her body shook in fear. She had never imagined that something like this would happen to her, and now that it had, she was helpless to know what to do; after all, she was intoxicated by him, but for some reason, she could not stop her hatred for him.

Sylvia closed her eyes, put on the clothes Freya bought her, and went out.

"You are here, let me see you do you loo..." Freya could not even complete her sentence when her eyes fell on her exposed neck and shoulders. Her body shuddered as she ran towards her and asked who had done all these things to her and what happened to her last time when she went missing out of the blue.

"Who did this to you? Oh my God, what in the world happened to you?" She was perplexed.

Sylvia said nothing; she stood there like a log as Freya shook her body to ask and started sobbing.

“I am sorry, this… this me… It all happened because of me; if I had not taken you to the hotel, this would not have happened.” She said this while burying her face in her palms and wailing.

Sylvia stood rooted as Freya kept on apologizing to her.

It was the worst birthday she'd ever had; not only had she lost her virginity, but also her dignity; nothing remained after that.

“What are we going to do? What should we do?” Freya looked up at her, her eyes red.

“Do not worry, Frey; I am not in the mood to let that person go.” Sylvia clenched her teeth as she bit her tongue. 

Ten months later,

In the spacious hall of the Shaded Woods Palace, several men and women stood with their heads bowed, as if they were being investigated or were about to be punished.

They were all concerned about their futures and unsure of what might transpire.

Their boss sat on the couch and had his eyes fixated on them as if he were about to burn them under his fiery gaze.

They all trembled and cried out for the holy spirits to rescue and protect them from the figure in front of them.

"Do you have nothing to say about what's going on over there?" The man questioned them in a chilly tone, making them want to dig a hole and bury their own bodies in order to live in peace forever, but before that, their savior arrived and saved them. 

He did not say anything and motioned for them to leave; Josh would take over from here. He knew how much his young master had tortured his employees up to this point.

The entire staff exhaled a sigh of relief, having made it out alive.

"No! No, Sir! No, not yet! But we should be able to find it soon!" Josh answered as he stood right in front of him with his head bowed.

“Is that so?” Travis was sitting on the couch in his pyjamas, puffing on his cigarette, and staring at the man in front of him.

Usually, Josh was not scared of his boss, but when he came to his bossy mode, he spared no one; he shivered all over in his presence.

His boss wasn't just any ordinary businessman; he was the most powerful and wealthy businessman in the nation. The cruelest person he had ever encountered was him.

He had no pity and would kill someone without second-guessing it. He just knew how to rule over something or someone!

Travis exuded such a powerful and intimidating aura that any weak-willed individual would lose control of his consciousness.

“I… I am still looking into it, young master, and we are still not sure where this came from.” Josh said, gathering all the strength he had in his body.

“Fuck!” Travis stood up annoyed and punched the table into pieces 

Josh was frightened. He stepped back to keep himself safe from the shard of glass that he had just broken off the table.

He had tremendous physical strength in addition to being powerful in attitude and character.

The man, who had never been bothered or worried about anything in his life, was now irritated.

Why?

“What the hell, with this little kid here? Who left it? I need to know as soon as possible, damn it!” Travis exclaimed in anger as a red drop of blood flowed out of his hands.

A few days ago, in front of their palace, someone delivered a baby girl with a document declaring that she was his biological daughter and that he must keep her and take responsibility!

Travis Spencer, who had a history of detesting women, produced a daughter out of nowhere!

It was the most important news on the globe! He had no idea of the origins of this girl, though, which was a problem.
