Evelyn let out a shuddering breath before she stopped breathing. Her panicked eyes gazed at him as he inched closer.
She noticed how his eyes glided down to her lips before meeting her gaze again.
This wasn't good.
She didn't want to give him her first kiss. But the mere thought of it was absurd. She was going to marry this man. He might want to do a lot more sinful things just than a mere kiss.
But she won't allow it. Sweat broke on her forehead when she felt his hot breath fanning her lips. She was aware of the cameras that were clicking their photos. Just when his lips brushed hers, she tilted her head slightly so that his lips landed on the corner of her mouth.
