Lucas’s POV

I ran until the world blurred. Trees screamed past in streaks of green and shadow, the moon a searing brand above me, and the forest—once mine, once familiar—now felt like a cage too small for the fury uncoiling beneath my skin.

My paws dug trenches into the earth, claws raking through soil, and every breath was a battle between man and beast, between the chaos in my chest and the curse burning through my veins. The shift hadn’t freed me. It had trapped me deeper inside myself.

Because no matter how far I ran, I could still hear her voice.

"He's yours."

I stumbled.

My front paw caught on a root, and I careened sideways, slamming into a tree trunk with enough force to make it quake. Bark split beneath my weight, but I didn’t feel it. Pain was nothing compared to what tore through me now.

Mine.

He was mine….My son.

And I hadn’t known. I hadn’t protected him. I hadn’t even *wondered.*

I let out a snarl so deep it rattled the air, birds erupting from their perches as if the fo

  • Alpha’s Dark Redemption    You fucking lied to me!

Lucas’s POVIt should have been a moment of clarity, a reunion forged by truth and closure, but instead, it was chaos bound in silence—the silence that bloomed the instant she said the words I had never prepared myself to hear, the words that unraveled every bone-deep certainty I’d clung to like armor."He's yours."Two words. Two fucking words that tore the floor out from under me and left my world spinning in a vortex I couldn’t escape.Selina stood there, hands clenched at her sides, her chin high but her eyes glassy, and the moment the air between us turned electric with those words, I knew there would be no going back.Everything she had ever hidden—everything she had swallowed in silence—had just detonated in the middle of my office. And all I could do was stare at her.I stepped away from her, slowly at first, like my own limbs were struggling to obey commands that used to be second nature. My hand flew to my mouth, fingers pressing hard against my lips like they could trap the

  • Alpha’s Dark Redemption    The Truth in Her Throat

Selina’s POVIt had been thirty-two days.Thirty-two nights without Damon’s voice echoing through the hallway, without the soft thud of his feet darting from one corner of the penthouse to the next, without the melodic hum of his dreams that used to fill the silence of my nights. And in those thirty-two nights, I had not once slept without waking up soaked in sweat, my breath caught between a scream and a sob, the scent of my son fading from his bedsheets like some cruel memory scraped away by time and salt and silence.I was running on caffeine and rage. My bones were hollow. My skin felt too tight. And my wolf? She was no longer pacing. She was snarling. But not at the world. At me.She had been begging me to tell Lucas Damon was his, but I couldn't. I want nothing to do with that man. I have tried doing everything myself, but I have failed.Because I had shut everyone out—including the one man who could've torn the earth apart to find Damon if I'd only let him. If I only told him t

  • Alpha’s Dark Redemption    When the Wolf Speaks

Selina’s POVSleep had once been my only escape, my temporary reprieve from a world that demanded I be steel and venom, unshaken and unburned, but now, even the sanctuary of dreams had turned against me, twisting into a landscape of fog and shadow where peace could not reach me and silence had teeth.I didn’t sleep; I drifted, descended, and sank. And every time my eyes closed, I ended up in the same place—not a memory, not a fantasy, but something older and more primal than either. A forest, and it was always the same.Silent and silvered with moonlight that cut like a blade across the trees, every branch reaching like skeletal hands, every gust of wind laced with ash and honey, a scent that had no right to comfort me but did—because it was his. Lucas. And he was always waiting.Never speaking, never moving. He was just there.A silhouette carved in ice and smoke, watching me from a distance he never crossed—and I hated how part of me waited for him to move, hated how part of me wish

  • Alpha’s Dark Redemption    Ashes of Control

Selina’s POVI didn’t cry. Not in front of anyone. I couldn't; I will never let them see me breaking. Not in the war room. Not in board meetings. Not even when the search teams reported nothing for the fourth day in a row.I wore red lipstick. I signed death warrants. I threatened CEOs into silence and moved pawns across my corporate battlefield like a goddamn empress of vengeance. I didn’t cry.But every night, when the lights were out and the silence pressed against the walls of my penthouse like a tomb—I broke, quietly and ugly. The kind of crying you bury with your face in a pillow so no one hears you suffocate.Damon’s room was exactly how he left it.His favorite blanket curled at the edge of his bed.The tiny leather boots I bought him still lined by the door, mud on the soles. His last drawing—a crooked little family portrait of the two of us standing in front of a giant wolf—was taped to the wall.I traced the stick-figure version of myself with trembling fingers, my vision

  • Alpha’s Dark Redemption    The Unleashing

Selina’s POVI felt his scent before I saw him. That arrogant, unholy blend of cedar, ash, and blood. It curled down my spine like smoke from a fire I thought I’d buried long ago. But now it was back—alive, potent, and dangerous.Just like him. And it was everywhere. The rooftop was cold under my boots, wind clawing through my coat, but none of that mattered. Not when I smelled him. Not when my son was gone. Not when my soul was being ripped apart from the inside out and the only man I’d ever loved—and hated—had dared to show his face.I didn’t wait. I didn’t think. I ran.“Lucas!”My scream cracked through the darkness like a whip. His back was to me, head tilted toward the stars like he’d been waiting for me.He turned. And I broke.“You took him!” I roared, stepping into the light. “You sick, manipulative bastard. Give me my son!”His jaw tightened. His eyes didn’t waver. Not even a blink. He didn’t speak. He didn’t deny it. I didn’t give him the chance. I shifted. The change rippe
