CHAPTER 9: Trouble

The hallway was too long and it even took me minutes before I finally found a grandiose staircase. I had stumbled into a lot of rooms before I found the exit!

Well, it's not really an exit. More like a way for me to finally be able to get away in this cabin or...mansion. I'm not sure now. The place is really huge to just be called a cabin. Heavens. This is far from the place that me and Aunt Carolina is staying. I mean, sure she has the power, literally, to change our cabin into something luxurious, but she choose not to. Or...I don't know.

My eyes feasted on the giant and weird paintings as I was making my way downstairs. I swear to all the dogs out there, the staircase should be the longest that I had ever used before! That's when I realized that there are really a lot of floors of this mansion! There should be an elevator here or something since it was so tiring!
