“Jeez what did I do now ” Muna asked playfully but Dexter wasn't smiling which she found surprising because she was used to seeing him smiling all the time.

Dexter closed the door gently and then he walked towards the bed where she sat and he sat beside her without saying a word to her and Muna watched him silently as her eyes slightly widened when a thought entered her head.

What if he overheard her conversation with Hazel ?

It was meant to be a secret between them and no one has to know about it.

What if Dexter told Jayden about it and she will be doomed.

She watched him take her leg and put it on his lap while examining her bandaged toe carefully and she saw him release a breath of relief as he stared at her.

“ So are you just going to keep staring at me like that without saying anything ” Muna said not being able to bear his silence anymore.

“ A few minutes Muna.... Just a few minutes left you with Hazel and you're already lost in the maze and now you already got yourself injured
