Chapter 6 : Your Son Is Under A Spell !!!

“ Alpha asked you to join him for lunch ”, Dexter said, and he saw her narrow her big light brown eyes at him and he wondered what was going on in her mind at the moment.

He just hoped that she would listen to him and follow him to the dining room where Jayden was waiting for her.

Dexter knew how impatient and hot tempered their Alpha was. One slight mistake could incur his wrath, talk more of disobeying him or keep him waiting.

He didn't want Jayden to hurt his mate again, not after he had almost strangled her to death some hours ago. She was human and his mate, for God's sake, and humans have fragile bodies.

They are the weakest of all creatures and they grow old and die, but after being marked by their mates, they stay immortal like the Werewolves, Vampires and the Witches.

The Vampires also mark their mates, but the Witches and Wizards use their magic to give their mates immortal lives.

As for the humans who fall in love with their fellow humans, who grow old and die, that's why most humans wished to be the mates of a Werewolf so they could live an immortal life.

But Dexter couldn't understand why this girl, as well as their Alpha. The girl was supposed to be happy that the moon goddess paired her together with an Alpha Werewolf, but she didn't look like she would ever love him.

And for Jayden, he had made a bad impression on himself by strangling the girl on their first meeting, though Dexter knew how much he loathed humans for their weakness. He was once like that too. All Werewolves were once like that, but after the war years ago, he learned to love humans and other creatures. Even Kayden, Jayden's twin brother, already had his own human mate.

But Jayden still didn't like humans and he wondered how he was going to treat his mate.

‘ Sierra, I hope you know what you're doing ’, Dexter said to the moon goddess in his mind when Muna’s voice broke him out of his thoughts.

“ Tell your Alpha that I'm not going to join him for lunch ”, she said as she went back and sat on the bed with crossed legs and crossed arms.

Damn! This girl is quite stubborn..

Has she forgotten that she almost died some hours ago ?

Dexter feared what Jayden would do to his mate if she didn't join him for lunch, so he had to think of a way.

He walked closer to her and stopped three steps away from her and he said in a gentle voice “ Look, I know you're still mad at him for what he did but you haven't eaten anything yet since you fainted so...”

“ I'm not hungry and stop acting like you care ” Muna said and scoffed.

Dexter smiled when he heard what she said. “ I do care about you. That's why I'm here standing in the room with you, so please follow me to the dining room please. ”

“ What made you think I'd follow you ”, She said, and Dexter signed.

He didn't know what else to do again. He knew that right now Jayden would be furious and soon he might come angrily to the room and do something he might regret later and, just as he thought, he heard the Alpha's angry voice through mind link.

[ Dexter ]

[ Yes Alpha ]

[Why haven't I seen her yet !!! ]

[ Hehe... We are on our way to Alpha, please be patient ] He said, laughing, but he could feel Jayden's enraged breathing through the mind link and he knew that it wasn't the time to laugh.

Just as he was busy talking with the Alpha, Muna was busy with her own thoughts. She was thinking of how to escape from them even though she didn't know how.

She thought of how her Aunt and Uncle would be feeling now, even her little brother Nathan. They will miss her so much as she was missing them too.

She knew that by now Danielle and Sharon must have known about her absence. Speaking of her friends, she remembered that they were going to free Raymond today and she wondered if Danielle had found out about his location yet and it made her angry that she didn't know what was happening right now, but she was more angrier at herself that she left her phone at home else she would have called.

Suddenly she felt as though she couldn't breathe, her throat felt very dry and she was dying to drink water. She hadn't tasted even a drop of water since she woke up this morning, she hadn't even finished eating her breakfast before she had been kidnapped.

Maybe she should follow him to the dining room not to meet their Alpha, but to drink water, and after that she would return, back to that room and plan her escape.

Yes, that's what she would do.

She stood up from the bed and, at the same time, the mind link between Alpha and Dexter was disconnected and Dexter narrowed his eyes at her.

“ Alright, let's go ” Muna said and Dexter gave her a suspicious look. “ What ? Why are you staring at me like that ”, she asked, and he grinned while scratching the back of his head.

“ Nothing, I'm just surprised you changed your mind so quickly ”he said.

“ Well, I'm not following you to the dining room because I'm obeying your Alpha, but I'm going there because I feel thirsty. ”

“ Oh.. So you're thirsty but you're not hungry, huh? ”

“ Are you going to take me there or not ” Muna said, glaring at him.

“ Sure, sure follow me ” Dexter said, and they both left the room. Muna had short words when they got into the hallway. It was painted in cream colour and the tiles were white and transparent so that you could see yourself while walking on it.

A beautiful chandelier was hung at the center of the hallway as it produced its bright light. Soon they passed two more golden iron doors and they finally got into the dining room.

The dining room was more beautiful than she ever imagined. It was luxurious and beautifully decorated. The sun was streaming in from the two large windows at the sides, giving the whole place a soft glow and warm feeling on the skin.

Muna was still taking her time to admire the dinner when she felt like someone was watching and she looked up to see pairs of yellow slit eyes staring at her and she felt her heart stop for a second when she stared at his face.

She had almost forgotten how gorgeous looking he was. A handsome man was extremely handsome with his bright yellow intimidating eyes and then, she inhaled the most intoxicating and sweet scent and it made her knees go weak just by smelling it.

She wondered where the sweet scent came from because it couldn't be the food or maybe it was...

But then a realization hit her and she knew that such a kind of intoxicating scent must be coming from him, but how could she smell him ?

Does that mean that she was truly his mate ?

No ! That can't be.

It can never happen !

She was not his mate and he was not her mate either.

She couldn't believe that she had almost lost her guard a few seconds ago and she immediately composed herself and glared at him while crossing her arms in front of her chest.

Jayden was sitting on a plush cream coloured chair with a wide round table in front of him with different kinds of food placed on it. There were at least three more chairs surrounding the round table.

He mind link his Gamma to leave so it will just be him and his mate in the dinning room and Dexter immediately left as quiet as he can without making a sound.

“ Sit ” Jayden said, but the girl didn't move an inch when she stood still glaring at him.

The nerve of this girl !!!

No one had ever disobeyed him before and she had not only insulted him but disobeyed him too.

“ I told you I don't take orders from you because you're not my Alpha and mind you, I didn't come here because you asked me to, I came here on my own ”, Muna said, without minding the fact that the Alpha's eyes were changing from yellow to black.

“ SHUT UP YOUR MOUTH AND SIT DOWN NOW !!! ” Jayden said in his Alpha voice and Muna felt her body trembling from hearing his change of voice and she saw that his eyes were pitch black again and his body was shaking in anger.

She immediately sat down so as not to get on his bad side again. She remembered that before she had passed out, she had heard one of his members pleading on her behalf for him to release her, but this time no one was there to plead for her and she realized that Dexter was no longer standing behind her.

When did he leave ?

How could he leave her with this ruthless Alpha?

“ Next time you talk back to me in that way again, I'll make sure to punish you that you won't be able to lift a finger when I'm done with your argument ” Jayden said, leaving no room for argument, and she gulped hard.

If only he had known that she had come to dinner because she was thirsty and not to eat with eat but now that he had threatened her under those icy glare he was giving her she had no choice but to eat with him.

She didn't immediately eat but she knew that he wasn't looking at her anymore, so she used that opportunity to peek at him and she saw his thick eyelashes cast down on his high cheekbones.

He was so handsome, like a god. But a god in human form, only that his wicked heart didn't match his handsome face.

Muna didn't realize that she was now gawking at him instead of eating until she saw him raise his head up and look at her and she quickly looked down at his food to avoid his eyes.

She then noticed that he was eating half-cooked meat with traces of blood on it and she felt like throwing up even though she hadn't eaten anything.

Why the hell would he eat half-cooked meat with blood on it ?

Was it because he was a Werewolf ?

Jayden felt the eyes of his mate on him and he knew that she was looking at him but he pretended not to notice. He knew that she was staring at him because of his handsomeness and he was used to it as everyone in the Werewolf of his park was always gawking at him.

There was a time when Alpha Nicholas of the Blue Moon Park in his territory had given him his daughter Klara to be his mate, as he didn't want to have anything to do with his human mate.

But then her touch on him, her kisses, whatever they did together, didn't move him. He didn't feel that he wanted to feel with her. Jayden never liked Clara but he was just using her to keep himself busy apart from having meetings with other Alpha's and then one day he told Klara to stop seeing him until he asked for her presence.

But this morning, while he was strangling his mate, he felt the spark from her, what he had always wanted to feel, that his anger clouded his senses and the feeling did not last long.

“ Why are you not eating ”, he asked her and he saw her raise her head up to look at him and she scoffed.

“ Who knew if you poisoned the food to kill me, but just so you know, I didn't wish to be your mate ” Muna said as she stabbed a piece of meat on her plate in anger.

“ And who says I want you too, ” Jayden said as he ate the bloodied meat on his plate, “ And why do I poison you when there are other ways to kill you... Painfully ”, He was able to say the last part audible for me to hear and then he added “ If not for the mate bond, a weak human like you wouldn't be sitting here with me. ”

Muna rolled her eyes after she heard what he said and she finally put a piece of meat into her mouth. “ I'm not weak ”, she said, and she watched him stand up after drinking water and he wiped his mouth clean.

“ Hey, where do you think you're going? ”

“ It's none of your business where I'm going, so eat up for the third time and go back to your room ” Jayden said and turned around to leave without looking at her.

“ What ? My room ? That's not my room, I don't belong here and I want to go back home to my family ” Muna said, standing up with her knuckles pressed hard on the table.

“ This is your home from now on and with time you'll learn to forget about your family ” Jayden said with his back turned towards her.

“ You can't keep me here as a prisoner. I'm not your prisoner ”. She screamed at the shut door and tears fell from her eyes.

She must find a way to get out of here.

She sat down and drank some water to wet her dry throat and she began to eat to feed her hungry stomach. She had been pretending not to be hungry when he asked her to eat, but now that he wasn't there she would eat as she liked.

Back at the Holand mansion.....

Danielle and Sharon had successfully gotten into the beautiful mansion but they hadn't seen any sign of Raymond anywhere.

Before they had gotten into the mansion with the Vampires' guards, they had seen a brood of Vampires walking here and there.

But now they were now sitting in the cell because Danielle's spell broke away from the Vampires' guards and they were both thrown into the cell for trespassing.

“ Sharon, I'm so sorry ” Danielle said.

“ For what ? ”

“ It was because of me that both of us are sitting here in the cell. ”

“ It's alright ”

“ I miss Muna already. ”

“ Me too ”, Sharon said.

“ I hope we see her soon. ”

“ I wonder what she's doing right now. ”

“ She's with her mate, of course ”, Sharon said. “ We should be thinking of how to get out of here. ”

“ I don't think they will let us see Raymond and I don't think we will be able to break the spell on him. ”

“ Hmm ” Sharon just hummed as usual and then they heard the sound of the lock being opened and they both looked up and saw the Vampire named Louis standing in front of them with a frown on his face.

“ You two up on your feet, the Lord wants to meet with you ” Louis said, opening while holding the iron door open for them to pass.

“ Lord ? ” Sharon and Danielle said in sync.

Soon they were both standing in front of a tall red-haired man who was sitting on a plush red-coloured chair with crossed legs. He was dressed in a white shirt that brought out his strong muscular body and black pants that brought out his long lean legs.

His dark red eyes scrutinized the two girls standing in front of him with a frown on his face and he looked at Louis and then back at the girls.

“ My guards told me you're here to see my son and why is that ? ” The man said.

“ Son ? ” Sharon said with surprise in her eyes and she looked at Danielle.

“ Raymond is your son ” Danielle said.

“ Are you both trying to play dumb with me or do you want to get thrown back into the cell ”, the man said with no smile on his face.

“ Um.. What ? No ! ” Danielle said.

“ We are not trying to play dumb with you but your son is under a spell ”, Sharon went straight to the point.
