Chapter - 40 “Sister's love"

I was happy when I woke up this morning next to my mate, but now I’m feeling stupid to think she will give us, our relationship one more chance after mating is done.

I’m standing here looking in her chocolate orbs which always held me captive but now is glassy and unfocused because she doesn’t believe a word I said to her that her sister is safe and at her home.

She is mind linking her, but what hurts me more that she didn’t even say or ask a word to me she just starts running out of the room, completely ignoring me, like I don't even exist in her life. Maybe that's true but it's hurt bad, to both of us me, and Damon too that our mate doesn't give a damn about us.

I stand still at my place as eyeing at the doorway from where she just runs out, as feeling all the pain and hurt of heart broke my wolf is feeling. He is emotional when it comes to his little mate, but other than her nobody else makes him feel helpless he is feeling now.
