107. Taking the baby home

The mother of that beautiful little girl hastily sat up straight with Damien's help. Her concerned gaze befell on the white towel in which her daughter was wrapped as she desperately rubbed her hands as if wanting to hold her daughter in her hands.

"What's wrong with my baby?" She asked.

From where she laid, she could just see the black hair and one tiny hand sticking out under the chin of the baby. Her tiny mouth dilated as loud cries stronger than an elder's roar rumbled in the room.

From the bed vaje a small mewling cry. Everyone looked at Aura. She was in an urgent need to look after that tiny soul as if it was only her, who could console her cries.

Madam Martha stopped on the other side of the bed and answered, "She seems to be hungry, Aurora."

"Oh," Urgently, she took the baby in her hands and caressed her sprouting black hair. "My little one is hungry? You want Mama to feed your little tummy?"

I agree I was able to get pregnant once but miscarried and was never able to get pregnant again. This chapter warmed my heart and made me feel like it was real. And my heart breaks for what I will never be able to have

I was told at 18 yrs old that I either couldn't get pregnant or would have a lot of trouble getting pregnant. This whole scene regarding the baby is bringing tears to my eyes for what I missed out on. Good writing. Oops, the baby doesn't have a name yet, does she?
