She sat down at the edge of his side taking his hand. He only looked behind her at Madam Martha encapsulating my palm into his big one.
"Had I not told you to maintain quiet, Miss. Martha? You woke her." her heart throbbed at his weak tone.
He cast a gaze at Madam Martha with a sigh assuming that she told Aura about this. But she didn't.
She was in her room resting in bed when the distinct noise of rushing footsteps faltered her partial sleep.
