Chapter four: I am his Luna?

Elsa listened attentively to Daxton as she munch on a box of pizza. Nodding every now and then to the interesting stories he was relating.

For the less than ten minutes she has spent with the group she had managed to deduce that the lady was Alexander's sister, Jay, who she has only meet one, (during their court marriage).

The other two, Dayton and Daxton are identical twins. Like head to toe and all. It really was frightening.

And the most important of all, is that Daxton is a blabber mouth. He literally knows about everything. It gave her the feeling of those old ladies in the neighborhood who would hold a tea party on Saturdays, to gossip. Terrifying.

"So you are trying to say I am— your Luna..... The female Alpha of your wolf pack.....or sort of?" Elsa felt a bit uncomfortable as she asked.

"Yes." Daxton nodded with a big smile which has been on his face ever since she had walked in.

She wondered how he manages to hold it up for so long.

"But isn't the Luna supposed to be his mate blessed by the moon goddess and all....?"

There's silence, and she looked around the three faces, raising a brow.

Something about their downcast expression and avoiding eyes felt fishy.

"He had a mate. Didn't he?" Elsa said, and from the tense line on Daxton fore head, she knew she was right.

'it should be related to his deceased wife he didn't tell me about.' She had that itchy ache in her heart. Just the same as she suffered when she first found out about the hidden secrets.

"You are his wife." Jay spoke up. Like a knife her words cut through the tension filled air.

"Were. We are divorced." Elsa scowled. "He can go find his pack a new Luna for all I care."

"The Alpha——he is a good person....." She threw a glare at Dayton who was trying to put in some good words for his boss.

Snatching Daxton's bottle of orange juice, she chugged it all down, stood up, then patted her stomach.

Letting out a loud sleepy yawn. It was definitely still dark outside so she decided to go back to bed. "I am going to sleep. See you guys tomorrow."

The next morning Elsa woke up feeling thoroughly refreshed.

It was one of the best sleep she had had in weeks.

Or that was what she thought until she opened her eyes and realized she wasn't alone in the bed.

Her head blaring in alarm as she yelled. "The fuck!!!!"

It was on of those rare mornings Alexander overslept. His eyes lazily fluttering open as he popped a brow at the devasted dasmel glaring daggers at him.

"Why. Are. You. Here?" She spelt between gritted teeth's. Eyes gleaming with furiousity.

"Where?" He had an innocent look on his face as he met her gaze.

"In bed." Elsa tried hard to ignore the urge to smack his face with a pillow. Biting down on her bottom lip. "With me?"

"This is my room. And my bed" He aced a confused expression. "Where else should I sleep?"

"On the sofa..,on the ground...., Like a gentleman would." Elsa spat back.

"I look like a gentleman?" Alexander replied ina reflex manner. Ticking her even more. Seeing this. He sensibly changed the topic. "You don't have to worry. I didn't do anything to you. Like the gentleman I am."

"Who knows?"

"If you really want to know." Alexander sighed dramatically. "Last night. It was you who rolled over to me.."

"I didn't." Elsa denied.

"You hands were over me like an octopus. And you kept muttering something under your breath. A name." Elsa was about to refute again when he added. "Kola. I think."

'damnit.' Her cheeks heated up at a visible rate and Alexander threw her a victory smirk.

Feeling like she had been smacked in the face. She glared harder. Saying a "whatever."

She grabbed the covers, threw it over her form, then stormed into the bathroom.

At lost at why she had to wrap herself up when she was well clothed.

'Anger really is my kryptonite.' Elsa sighed, looked around. Then decided to just take a bath since she was already there.

She had just finished washing up when she realized a problem.

The clothes are in the closet which is in the room and there is Alexander in the room too.

No. She couldn't see herself walking out there with just a towel. Unless she'd have to wear the clothes she changed out of. Which was an invalid.

'are the heaven's planing on killing me with embarrassment today?' She suddenly had a headache.

Seeing no other way out, she poked her head out of the door and called out to her enemy.  "Alexander."

He was lying on the bed, typing something on his phone. Barely sparing her a glance as he replied. "hmmmmm."

Elsa swallowed. Then breathed. "Clothes."

"In the closet." He answered.

Another breath. "Can you bring it over."

"Why?"

"I am only in a towel. I can't get it myself." Elsa seethed.

"I still don't see why." Although he was still focused on his phone, Elsa knew just what he was doing.

"Bastard." She slammed the door shut.

'He thinks I can't do it? I will show him.

How dare he mock me?

It's not like I am insecure about my body. No. Am more afraid he might fall in love. But now. I won't care.'

She tightly secured the towel, then threw the door open with a determination to move mountains.

Only that—

There was no sign of Alexander anymore.

The rims of Elsa eyes grew red as she glared at the spot he had occupied. 'That fudging bastard!!!"

Elsa came down just in time for breakfast. All her bad emotions drowning at the aroma of the kitchen.

"Luna."

"Luna."

"Luna Elsa."

Elsa snickered at the three as she takes a sit. Nice try. "The name is Elsa."

She ignored the big bad alpha who was for sure staring at her, serving a plate of pancakes for herself.

She inhaled half of her plate. Feeling the table was too quiet. She said. "I forgot to ask; Where is the park located?"

"New Orleans." Alexander replied.

"New Orleans?" Elsa was pretty shocked. She had stayed there almost all the years of her life. And although she couldn't boast of having visited every inch it was still surprising how a whole lot of were-people could live there. Unnoticed.

'Did the government know about the this?' she felt doubtful.

"We are leaving today." Alexander spoke up bringing her out her thoughts. "By nine."

"Oh—safe journey then." Elsa waved. Ignoring the tiny sense of disappointment she felt.

"I want you to come with us." He stated.

'Dream on.'

"No thanks." Elsa said without a second thought.

"Will you really not think about it?" Alexander popped a brow. "I am offering you everything."

Elsa throat bulged at his last word.

"You should think about it." Alexander said. "like I said, we will leave by nine."
