"Damn it. This—"

"Hey, calm down—calm down. Take a breath," the Heart Demon tried to console her, but Elsa could hear the tremor in her voice, mirroring her own panic.

"Something is wrong," Elsa muttered unconsciously, her voice quivering.

"What?" Prince Ryan's sharp hearing caught her words, and he raised a concerned brow.

"My babies..." Elsa whimpered softly.

"Your babies." The realization struck Prince Ryan like a bolt of lightning, and he flinched. "You're pregnant?!"

Elsa, lost in the depths of despair, remained oblivious to his words. Her entire focus was on the pain that radiated from her stomach, a pain that seemed to echo in her heart.

The physical pain was excruciating, but it was nothing compared to the turmoil inside her. Her heart pounded with a fear that went beyond herself.
