51. Terminating the mistress!
While the alpha was still processing her words in his brain, she helped Adrian sit straight and cleaned the trail of blood from his forehead. She sniffed and her sobs echoed like an irritating tune in his ears.
"Jenny, don't! Don't take the blame on your head. It was me who went to look for Lisa. I was worried for her." Though every part of his body was bathing in a scorching boiling pool of anguishing water, Beta Adrian eyed her to back off.
