Aurelia’s POV

My scream tore out of me as Liam dragged me closer to the edge.

The ground crumbled beneath my back, pebbles and dirt raining into the darkness below. My fingers clawed uselessly at stone slick with dust and blood, my body jerking violently as I kicked and punched at him with everything I had left.

“LET GO OF ME!” I screamed, my throat burning, my voice raw with terror.

Liam’s grip was iron. Like he wasn't going to let go no matter how hard I screamed.

His claws dug into my ankle, pain exploding up my leg as he snarled, eyes blazing with a madness that made my stomach twist.

“You really think I’d let you live after all this?” he growled. “You’re the reason everything fell apart.”

“I’m not your reason!” I sobbed, striking his face with my fist. “You made your choices!”

He laughed so unhinged and yanked me harder.

The pit groaned.

A deafening crack split the air as another section of rock collapsed, sending a shockwave through my body. My grip finally slipped, and for one

Selena’s POVThe sound of their escape still echoed in my head long after the forest went quiet. The sickening realization that Dominic and Aurelia had slipped through my fingers again.By the time I got back to base, my hands were shaking so badly I could barely breathe.Fury burned through me so much I couldn't control it.They were supposed to stop those riffraff from escaping but yet they stood there and allowed them escape. My jaw clenched.“So,” I said quietly, my voice trembling with restrained rage, “this is the result of your competence?”No one answered. That was when something inside me snapped. I reached into my coat, pulled out my gun, and before anyone could react, I fired at each of them that were standing at the front. The first shot rang through the hall like thunder.Blood splattered across the stone floor as one of the men dropped, screaming in agony, clutching his shoulder.“You all are a waste of space and time!” I screamed, firing again. And soon the whole place

  • Alpha's Reborn Luna-Marked For Vengeance    Chapter 120

Aurelia’s POVThe rope bridge appeared out of nowhere, and my heart sank. The bridge stretched across a yawning abyss, its wooden planks uneven and dark with age. Below it, nothing but darkness and jagged rocks waited, the wind rising from it in cold, hungry gusts that made my stomach twist.Behind us, the forest exploded with movement.Snarls. Footsteps. The sharp crack of branches snapping under reckless weight. The rogues were close.“We’re not going to make it,” I whispered, my voice shaking as I stared at the bridge. My legs refused to move, rooted in terror.Dominic stepped in front of me, his body shielding mine from the sight below. His hands came down firmly on my shoulders, grounding me.“Look at me,” he said, his voice rough but steady.I forced my gaze up. His eyes locked onto mine, fierce and unyielding.“Trust me,” he commanded. My heart hammered painfully against my ribs. I swallowed hard and nodded.“I trust you,” I breathed, even though fear clawed mercilessly at my c

ALPHA DOMINICThe dagger flashed in the rays of the moon.I didn't give myself a chance to think before I leaped. My shoulder slammed into the rogue with enough force to knock the breath from his lungs, and the dagger flew from his hand, skittering across stone before disappearing into the dark below. The sound of it clanging once against the cliff face echoed far too loudly for my liking.Aurelia cried out behind me.I turned just in time to see her boots slide on loose gravel. The narrow ledge betrayed her, crumbling under her weight. She dropped to her knees, as her fingers clawed desperately at jagged rock, blood was already slicking through her palms.“Aurelia!”Fear slammed into me so hard it felt physical.I lunged after her, my claws tearing into stone as I followed her down the ledge. The cliff fell away beneath us, a yawning black abyss that smelled of cold air and death. I could feel her terror like a live wire humming through my veins.Look at me, I mindlinked her, forcing

Aurelia’s POVI turned slowly, my breath coming out in shallow, panicked gasps. They were everywhere.Dozens of rogue wolves circled us, their bodies half-shifted, muscles rippling beneath scarred skin. Yellow and red eyes glowed through the shadows, reflecting hunger, rage, and bloodlust. Low snarls vibrated through the forest like a living thing, closing in on us from every direction. My fingers tightened around Dominic’s arm until my knuckles ached.“We can’t fight them all,” I whispered, my voice barely holding together.Dominic didn’t look at me at first. His eyes tracked every movement, every twitch, every shift of weight among the rogues. His jaw clenched, lips pulling back to reveal sharp teeth.“You’re right,” he said finally, voice low and controlled. “We shouldn't even bother fighting.”Another wolf stepped forward, as his claws scraped against stone.Dominic turned to me then, his gaze fierce but steady. “We run.”He didn’t wait for my response. He grabbed my hand and pull

  • Alpha's Reborn Luna-Marked For Vengeance    Chapter 116

Aurelia’s POV The glowing eyes moved closer.I was stock-still I didn't know if to run or to stay. I've already seen the worse today, so nothing seemed new to me anymore at this point. Each step sent a low vibration through the ground beneath my feet, a pressure that wrapped around my chest and made it hard to breathe. My heart pounded so violently I thought it might tear itself free from my ribs. I backed away instinctively, my heel scraping against stone, my hands lifted in a useless attempt to protect myself.“Please…” My voice came out broken, barely a whisper. “Please don’t hurt me.”The darkness peeled back inch by inch, and the massive shape stepped into what little light filtered down from above. My breath caught painfully in my throat.Dominic.He was in full Alpha shift, he was so huge, towering, his black fur rippling with barely contained power. His eyes burned a deep, molten gold, sharp and focused, and I could still see him through them. The scent hit me next, it smelle
