Chapter 14

It was around nine o'clock in the morning when she awoke, restless with hunger and thirst. With her eyes open, she stared at the ceiling decorated with elaborate carvings, slowly awakening her mind. She was locked in the room by Conard. Seeing the darkness, she fainted.

She looked around. Conard was lying next to her. She immediately but slowly got off the bed and moved towards the door without making a sound. She had to get out of this grave. This was her only chance.

“But I can’t run away from there. "I should have called my dad." She thought and looked for his phone. When her eyes were drawn to the mobile on the side table, her heart suddenly filled with joy. She came towards him with a shuddering step. Then, she picked it up slowly and walked towards the balcony... a sense of hope arose in her.
