Chapter 46: Two Forces

Darian's POV

"Seriously, Darian, I thought I had told you a thousand times to stop coming to my pack." Riqchard asked me, his eyes boring into me with an icy glare.

"Actually, the reason why I came here is to thank you for assisting me in rescuing my mate. As you can see, I didn't even come with any of my soldiers so that you won't think that I came to cause trouble for you," I said to him, and he nodded.

"That's really thoughtful of you, Darian; after all, you don't even need your soldiers in order to protect yourself," he said to me from his throne.

"Do you mind if I sit down?" I asked him since he hadn't asked me to take a seat since I arrived.

"If you wish to sit, then sit, but if you don't wish to sit, you can keep standing," he said to me with a frown.
