29 - I Don’t Care About Her

Arriving back at her home, he walked out, lifted her in his arms again, and took her to her bedroom. Her fingers clenched onto his collar tightly as a frown appeared on her face. He rested her head on his shoulder gently as he took swift, careful steps toward her bedroom.

Guilt was filling his heart. He knew he had hurt her unintentionally with his actions and his words. The way she had cried kept on making his heart ache.

Reaching her bed, he placed her down gently. As he tried to pull back, he got tugged back as her hand that was gripping his collar was still tightly clenched.

He carefully tugged the cloth out of her grip. He then walked to the washroom, and opened a few drawers until he found the first aid kit. He grabbed a towel, wet it, and then walked back to the bed. He cleaned her wrist which had dried blood, put ointment on it, and wrapped it with a bandage. Thankfully it was just a skin deep scratch, but he could still not feel at ease. His mind kept on repeating the things
