Chapter 1

1 - End Of An Engagement

I hear the sound of my mom's heels clicking against the floor of my room.

I knew she would come here after ignoring he shouts from the hallway.

Yesterday's dinner party at my grandma's house wore me out completely. It was also the day of summer vacation.

The sun shines bright on my face from my window and I groan.

I turned to face the other side, wrapping the duvet of my body.

But I was out of luck because my mom pulled it off my body and I whine.

"You need to get up Ireal. It is your first day of your final year and you don't want to be late"she says with a sigh.

"I know that but it is going to a normal day as usual. What is so special about senior year?"I whine as I sat up on the bed and rubbed my eyes tiredly.

"Senior year is fun. It is where you make memories that will last. Also Hunter has been blowing up your phone since morning" she tells me and helps me stand on my feet.

She hands me my new iphone and I still throw it on my bed ignoring my best friend.

"Just ignore him,he is probably going rant about his new conquest or how his mom annoys him"I groan and my mom chuckles.

"That silly boy. Come on now,go take a shower, Cara will bring your uniform. Hurry,you dad is taking me to the hospital"she whispers the last part and I almost burst into tears.

"How is the baby"I whisper sadly

"She is draining me. Don't be worried sweetheart we will be fine"she says to me rubbing her seven months bump.

"Okay mum. I'll be done in thirty minutes"I hug her carefully not to hurt her.

"I am going to make your breakfast. No milk as usual"she smiles and leaves my room.

My mom is pregnant with her fourth child. She is a rainbow baby,after my little brother Luca,mom suffered a lot of miscarriages which lead to her not having children anymore.

After so many years this pregnancy came as a surprise. But it has been a very difficult pregnancy,and it is really draining mom.

They might even have a C-section on her so that they can remove the baby.

I walked into my spacious white colored bathroom and stood Infront of the mirror staring at my reflection.

My blond her is in mess and there are bags under my eyes. I look like a zombie.

After taking a shower,I went back into my room to see my uniform neatly ironed and laid on my bed.

I put on my underwear,blow dried my short hair and tied it in a neat bun.

Over the summer I got a new hair cut,it made cheer practice easier.

I put on my uniform, which consist of a short brown skirt with white shirt and a blaze and ribbon bowtie. Stocking are optional,so I didn't wear them.

Today is my first day as a senior so I need to look good.

I applied a little make up and sprayed my new Chanel perfume.

I was now ready.

I grabbed my bag and car keys and headed downstairs.

I entered the dining room to see my dad speaking on the phone and my little brothers enjoying their breakfast with mom.

"Good morning dad"I greet and kissed his cheeks.

"Good morning sweetie"he replies and hangs up his call.

"Wassup Dante. Hey Luca"I greet my brother.

Dante Angelis Junior was named after my dad, he is a photocopy of him. He is really tall for a 13years old and he is in middle school. Final year I think.

My little brother Luca is mom's double ganger. Sweet and kinda. He is also in middle school,11years.

No need to introduce my parents since you already know them. Mom is an ex musician and now the best novelist and stay at home mom. Also a Co-founder of Marielle Corp,a fashion clothing line along with my aunt Chanel.

Dad is a business man with chains of hotels and resorts.

I am Ireal Angelis, I wouldn't say heiress but I will be sharing the fortune. But I will be the new CEO of ANGELIS COMPANY after college.

"Are you ready for your first day,my love"dad asks me and I nod.

The maid serves me my breakfast and I eat hurriedly.

"Alright,we will dropping your brothers off at school. Please drive safely"dad says and kisses my head.

They all bid me good bye and left.

I grabbed my school bag and head out to my new Benz.

My dad got it for me as my 18th birthday present,a month ago.

Azrael also had her new car on her birthday three months before mine.

I opened my car and put my bag at the other seat.

I reached into my pockets to check if I grabbed my inhaler.

My phone begins ringing and I pulled it out.

I smile at the name and answered.

"Bitch why aren't you here yet?"she shout through the phone and I chuckle.

"Good morning to you too. I am on my way"I tell her and start my car.

"Hurry up before I kill Hunter"she hisses and I giggle and end the call.

I pull into the drive way and drove to the gate with my guards behind me and the security guard opened the gates for me.

I pulled on the main road and head down to school.

Eastern View High is a school for the elite people in the state.

You are privilege to attend here,most students over here are from rich homes. Either their parents are in to businesses or are socialites.

I parked my car in the parking lot and even with expensive car I don't stand out because everyone has one.

I get down and my best friend are first people I see.

I wasn't surprised to see them arguing as usual.

"Wassup bitches. Your princess is here" I announced as I sat in between them on the bench.

"It about time"Azrael's groans and stands up. We all do.

"You should have answered my calls Ireal. I think I am in love"he sighs and I laugh.

I looked at him but he wasn't laughing,oh he was serious.

"Oh you are serious. He is serious?" I asked Azrael and she nods.

Hunter in love. That is new,who is the lucky girl. Hunter wasn't born rich like us,his mom married a rich oil business tycoon so that's how he goes here.

The man is childless,so Hunter is their only child.

"Who is she?"I asked but the bell rings and students begun to enter the school.

"We can talk about Hunter's love life later. We need to get to our lockers first" Azrael says and drags both of us inside.
