The very next second the arm around her stomach tightened. Edge’s face lowered to her ear and mumbled quietly, “Come outside with me right now if you don’t want me to carry you out of here.”

His words were cold and scary. It was not a warning. It was an out and out threat.

Edge turned around and walked away, storming out of the main door. Light hesitated for a moment but knowing she can not defy him right now, she put the food plate down and followed the infuriating man out of the hall.

The moment she walked out of the pack house, a hand grabbed hers. He pulled her to the side, past all the woods until they were on the dark and quiet side of the pack house. She was almost running to catch up with him in fear of falling down.
