Chloe's POV

"Liam!" I increased my voice as dread and cold filled my spine. A snake.. there's a snake in my room.

"Liam!!" My voice echoed through the quiet house. I heard a slight rumbling before a door clicked open.

Apparently, it was the wrong door because Mendy walked out of it instead.

"Why are you going about screaming Liam's name, by this time?" She asked and I held myself from rolling my eyes.
