Chloe pov

"Ryan..." I called out, tapping him on the shoulder to face me.

The man turned around, and our eyes met. But, to my surprise, it wasn't Ryan at all. It was a complete stranger, with a confused expression on his face.

"Uh, can I help you?" he asked, clearly taken aback by my sudden tapping and calling out a name.

I felt my face flush with embarrassment as I realized my mistake. "Oh, I'm so sorry," I stammered. "I thought you were someone else."

The man smiled kindly and nodded. "No worries, it‘s okay." with that he walks away.

I quickly returned to the restaurant, my head hung in embarrassment. Lucy was still sitting at the table, a huge grin on her face.

"Chloe, what happened?" she asked, barely containing her laughter.

"I thought I saw someone I know," I admitted, feeling silly.

Lucy burst out laughing. "Are you daydreaming now, weren't you?" she teased.

"Shut up, Lucy."I playfully rolled my eyes.
