The day Nicole said that she didn’t want to see me, it burned in me as if someone had poured acid in my body. My whole life seemed to come to a standstill. I had thought of spending a beautiful evening with her to make up for the loss of time and here I was about to go insane. Was she trying to reject me? The pain that surged in my body at the word ‘reject’ was wreathing my soul to a painful level which was beyond tolerance.
