Georgia’s POV

It had taken more courage than I thought to leave ever since Damien and Patricia humiliated me, requesting for a polygamous marriage, but my father’s words had been the push I needed.

“Come home,” he’d said over the phone, his voice steady yet warm. “My pack is your pack, always. No matter what happens with Damien, you’ll always have a place here.”

I stood in my bedroom that night, surrounded by half-packed bags. For so long, I’d convinced myself that leaving wasn’t an option, that I had to stay and make things work, maybe accept Patricia as my co-wife. But seeing how my father showed me how welcomed I am to his pack, I knew the moon goddess has blessed me with such a loving father. He finally wanted me home.

So I packed. Each piece of clothing folded into my suitcase while Damien was away for work.

Ever since I got married to Damien, Damien had always found ways to keep me away from my family, always had a reason why I couldn’t visit my family. “Your place is with me,”

Georgia’s POVThe next day, I was woken up by the relentless ringing of my mobile phone. I have been oversleeping lately and I knew that was one of the symptoms of my pregnancy.Groaning softly, I reached over the phone, squinting at the screen. Damien’s name was flashing on the screen.Thirty missed calls.I hadn’t expected him to be this persistent. As if on cue, a message notification popped up. Hesitating for a moment, I tapped it open, only to find a flood of texts from Damien.‘You’re overreacting to this little thing. Come back home where you belong. Patricia and Liam’s presence shouldn’t threaten you. He’s your stepson, and as the future alpha, you should love him as your own. Patricia will be sharing our bed. If you don’t like that, you can take turns. But I can’t send her or Liam away, he is my blood. You need to understand that. I love you. The pack misses you too. Come back tonight. If you refuse, I’ll send my men to bring you back.” Those were his pathetic words from the

Georgia’s POVMy gown flowed effortlessly with every step, the silky fabric brushing against the stairs as I was climbing gently down stairs, making my way down to the pack hall where everyone was already enjoying their moments. Amelia was walking just behind me, her hands gently lifting the back of my dress so it wouldn’t catch on the steps.“You look stunning, my Luna,” she whispered softly.I smiled at her words. When I finally reached the bottom of the stairs, I paused for a moment. All the pack members were already gathering. The pack hall was alive with celebration. Everywhere I looked, people were laughing, dancing to the beating drums, and some were chatting happily with one another while holding cup of drinks as they gulped it all in excitement, requesting for more. Garlands of flowers of different colors hung around every corner of this building.Banners bearing our pack’s crest, the image of a silver wolf beneath a crescent moon were draped along the walls.Round tables li

Kael’s POVI was seated at the back seat of my luxurious black car, watching through the tinted glass as we approached the crowd gathering. The car moved slowly, carefully maneuvering through the sea of people whose excitement was clear in their eyes. My expression remained cold and unreadable as I observed. Some knelt with their palms pressed flat against the corner side of the road, while others hurried to lay their coats and shawls across the path ahead, creating a makeshift carpet. Fresh flower petals, white lilies and crimson roses rained gently against the car’s glass as pack members tossed them toward the vehicle in an offering of respect. Rendering praises.“May you live long, your reign has been a blessing. All hail…” It continuedI listened without reaction, my gaze steady as I observed their faces through the tinted window. Their reverence didn’t surprise me. I was the Lycan King, their overall ruler by blood and right. Their submission was expected, not something that need

Kael’s POVWe are now at backstage of the feasting room. I stood, my face looking emotionless. “The territory assignment, you will have to release 70 percent of your own territory to me.” My words made him turn to face me, shocked. I needed part of his territory for my pack for shelter. If they want my protection this time, they needed to sacrifice their lands. “Seventy percent of my land? Do you know what you’re asking, your majesty?”“I know exactly what I’m asking.” I met his gaze without flinching. “That land borders my enemy's territory, part of those werewolves that are creating a stronger pack to attack me. If I control it, they won’t dare move against me. And if war breaks out, my pack will have the ground it needs to push back. It’s strategic. Necessary.”“Necessary for you, maybe. But what about my pack? Without that land, we lose hunting grounds, farmland, everything we rely on to survive. I won’t cripple my people just to strengthen yours.”I took a step closer, my voic

Georgia’s POVThe car came to a sudden halt, jerking me forward slightly. My hands clutched the edge of the seat as I looked out the window, my breath catching at the sight before me. A massive golden gate towered before me. The gates began to roll open by itself, revealing a long driveway with smooth gray stones that stretched toward a sprawling estate road. Neatly trimmed hedges bordered both sides of the path. The car moved slowly up the drive and as we approached the main building, I found myself staring up in awe. It was more of a mansion than a house. no, more like a palace. The car slowed and turned into a parking slot near the entrance. Before the driver could exit, two guards approached from either side. One of them opened my door, stepping aside as the other gestured for me to step out.I hesitated for a moment before stepping out as I straightened my posture, my gaze moving towards the entrance where some maids stood. Their uniforms were simple, black dresses with white

Georgia’s POVLucy stepped closer, an evil smirk spreading across her face as she stopped right in front of me.“I heard you left your cheating husband,” she spat.Ever since Lucy left our pack, I’d had peace of mind. Back then, she never missed a chance to hurt me with her words. Always quick with insults and cruel comments. She was older than me, and I never dared to fight back. “Not now,” I said, turning to leave. Her hand shot out, gripping my wrist tightly. Pain shot up my arm as I tried to pull away.“I even heard he has a son with his beta,” she said, her voice filled with mockery. Her words cut deep, but I bit the inside of my cheek, refusing to show weakness. I wouldn’t give her the satisfaction.“Let go of my hand,” I said, trying to pry her fingers off me.Her grip only tightened as I struggled, nails digging into my skin. Just when I thought she wouldn’t release me, she suddenly let go. The force of it sent me stumbling backwards and I hit the ground. Pain flared up my wa

Kael’s POVThe door to my office banged open, hitting the wall with a loud thud. My eyes moved up from the desk. Georgia stood in the doorway, arms folded across her chest like she owned the damn place. My wolf, Steve stirred instantly, pushing against my mind the moment her scent hit me. I ignored him, forcing my face to remain blank as my gaze locked onto hers. Her eyes dropped to my shirt half-buttoned, collar open, the faint sheen of sweat still cooling on my skin. She glanced at my trousers, unbuttoned, and then at Lucy, who was fumbling with her blouse, cheeks flushed. Georgia’s expression didn’t shift. The only thing I could see through her was how her expression burned with anger as if someone had annoyed her before coming here..“I need to talk to you, Kael,” she said, her tone clipped, unaffected. Or at least trying to be unaffected.Silence stretched between us for a few seconds. My gaze then shifted to Lucy, who was still awkwardly fixing her buttons.“Leave us,” I said.L

Kael’s POVHer phone buzzed again, vibrating softly. She glanced at it but didn’t move until the second ring sounded. With a hesitation, she picked it up, holding it to her ear without a word.I took a step closer, arms crossed as I watched her face closely. She wasn’t speaking, but I could hear the faint voice of Damien’s voice on the other end. Soft and manipulative.“I’ve been sick since you left, Georgia. It’s been hard without you,” he said, his voice dipping into that guilt-laced tone. “I need you back. Just come home… please.”Her shoulders stiffened as if bracing herself, yet the effect of his words was visible. Her gaze dropped to the floor, her grip on the phone tightening slightly. The longer she listened, the more the weight of those words had an effect on her. I could see the hesitation creeping into her eyes. She was beginning to reconsider this man.Anger was burning inside me. I waited, silent and still, until she finally ended the call without a reply. Dropping the ph

Kael’s POVThe sunlight flashed on my eyelids, uncomfortably waking me from the heaviness of my own body. I groaned, tossing on the bed, fighting with the stubborn light that insisted on slicing through my lashes. My head pounded. A dull, throbbing pain spread through my temples like someone had cracked a bottle open on my skull. I tried to turn away from the light, clinging to the remnants of sleep. But then I felt someone lying beside me. My eyes opened in a slow, reluctant crawl, but what I saw made them fly wide open in an instant. Georgia? She lay there, curled slightly to one side, the sheets barely covering her. Her hair fanned over the pillow, her bare back rising in what should have been a gentle rhythm of breath. She’s naked In my bed, next to me.And that’s when i remembered last night's incident even though I can't remember it all. I had laid with her.I sat up slowly, the sheet sliding off my own waist. My heart thudded, once, then again, louder than before. The memory wa

Georgia’s POV Later that night, I made my way to Kael’s chamber. I hesitated for just a second, bare feet pressing against the cold marble before I raised my hand and pushed the door open without knocking. The room was dim, but the reflection of the moon light made it better. The curtains were half drawn. Kael stood near the window, shirt undone, collar open, dark hair tousled like he had run his hands through it a thousand times. He turned slowly when he heard the door creak, brows lifting in surprise. “Georgia?” His voice was low, a little rough. “You are not sleeping. Are you alright?”I stepped inside, letting the door fall shut behind me. The soft thud echoed in the silence between us. “No, I’m not alright.” I said simply and truthfully.Kael’s gaze darkened with concern. He stepped toward me, and that was when I noticed the half-empty whiskey glass on the table beside his bed. The smell of alcohol hung faintly in the air, and when he came closer, it clung to his breath.“You’ve

Reveena’s POVI stood by the kitchen door frame slightly, arms crossed as I peeked at Georgia secretly while she hum softly to herself as she stirred the contents of the pot. She moved around the kitchen with an almost eagerness, occasionally wiping her hands on the apron Kael had given her earlier in the day. It was ridiculous how proud she looked, as if preparing one meal could suddenly make her suitable to stand beside him.She didn’t even notice me lurking. But I wanted to walk in and teach her a lesson but an idea popped into my head.Georgia flipped the lid open and gave the pot one more stir, her face gleaming with a smile that made my skin itch. I watched her lean over and sniff the soup, nodding approvingly to herself. Not a single spoonful to taste the grab she had made, not even a pinch to check if the seasoning was right. Just a sniff. She really was that stupid.“I think they’ll love it,” she whispered to herself, wiping sweat off her forehead before trotting off toward t

Reveena’s POVI shouldn’t have come. The thought repeated over and over in my mind like a chant as Kael’s amber flared with a fire I hadn’t seen before, not for me, but against me.“You don’t get to decide my fate, Reveena,” he growled, each word seething with disdain. “Over my dead body will Georgia ever be my mate? Is that what you came here to force on me?”I opened my mouth to reply, to remind him of the bloodlines, the council’s expectations.“If you think I’ll let anyone, even you, dictate who I bind my soul to… then I’m sorry to tell you this, Reveena,” he spat my name like it burned his tongue. “But I’ll become your enemy if that’s what it takes.”My breath hitched. I felt my heart crack loudly, painfully as though he’d just ripped it from my chest and crushed it between his clawed fingers. He turned away from me as if I no longer mattered. His hand curled into a fist at his side, shoulders tense, jaw tight. Not because of her he is acting this way towards me.“You would thro

Reveena’s POVI made my way to Kael’s chambers with thunder boiling in my veins. That moment I saw her, draped in simple fabric, eyes lowered like a servant, something inside me twisted. Not jealousy. No. This was something deeper. A storm of disbelief and fury at the very idea that someone like her could be in his presence so comfortably.I didn’t knock as I bagged into Kael’s room. The doors flung open beneath my hands, slamming against the inner walls. Kael was by the window, but he didn’t even flinch. He barely turned his head as I entered, and that only enraged me more.“Unbelievable.” I snapped. His eyes rose to meet mine. calm, cold, and far too steady for someone who’d just been caught entertaining a girl like that. “What?”“You know what I mean,” I hissed, stepping closer. “The girl I saw claiming she’s your mate. The one with her hair tied back like a kitchen maid. What is she doing here?”Kael arched a brow, folding his hands across each other with the kind of infuriating

Georgia’s POV“Leave.” He instructed as he pulled away. I took a step forward but he wasn’t giving me the chance to come closer. “You should leave!” He ordered again.I closed Kael’s door quietly behind me. My fingers lingered on the handle, as if wanting to go back in if I held it long enough. But it didn’t. He had sent me away.I didn’t want to leave, that I could stay and just sit in silence if that’s all he wanted. But Kael was persistent. His words had been gentle but firm. “Not now. Please, just go.”So I did.I walked down the long corridor with a dull ache spreading through my chest, the kind that doesn’t explode, just gnaws quietly beneath your ribs. The pack house was quieter than usual. Even the guards I passed seemed subdued. By the time I reached the new room Leah and I had moved into, I headed towards the bed. The room was bigger than our old one, the ceiling higher, the windows wider. It was nicer.Leah was folding some of Nathalie’s tiny clothes when I walked in. The

Georgia’s POV The night was quiet, too quiet. I looked at Kael as we stood under the tree beneath the moonlight. The silence between us wasn’t uncomfortable, just heavy. “You’re awfully quiet,” I said softly, breaking the stillness.Kael didn’t look at me right away. He had that faraway gaze, like he was speaking to the stars rather than to me. His jaw clenched, then relaxed. “I’ve been waiting for the right time to tell you something,” he said at last, his voice low and unsure.I turned fully toward him. “Tell me now.”A faint smile touched his lips. “There’s… a way,” he said, “to bring my mortal body back.”For a second, I just stared at him, blinking. Then the weight of his words slammed into my chest and I grabbed his arm. “Are you serious?”He nodded once.I let out a breathless laugh, joy blooming in my chest. “That’s incredible, Kael! That’s how? What is it? What do we have to do?”That’s when his smile faded. He looked down at his hands, flexing his fingers like he wasn’t su

Ruth’s POVI don’t remember how I got to the hospital. One moment, I was cradling her limp body in my arms, whispering her name over and over again like it could breathe life back into her. The next, I was speeding through the city streets, horns blaring behind me, lights flashing red and green but never registering. Her head rested on me, blood seeping through the fabric of my shirt, warm and sticky. Her lips were slightly parted, eyes closed. I kept telling myself she was asleep. She had to be.“Sis, stay with me,” I whispered, voice cracking. “We’re almost there, okay? Just… just a little longer.”But she didn’t stir. When I finally reached the nearby hospital and burst into the emergency room, I must have looked insane, my shirt drenched in blood, barefooted, my hands shaking so badly I almost dropped her. Lucy’s POVI didn’t cry. Not in the cab, not when I stepped through the gates of our estate. Crying would have been easier than this slow, simmering ache twisting through my ribs.I got back home. “Madam?” One of the maids stepped forward, her voice hesitant.“Where’s Damien?” I asked softly, not stopping to look at her.“In the study, ma’am.”I walked past her without a word. The door was slightly ajar, warm light filtering through. Damien’s voice carried low across, probably on a call. I pushed it open.He was there, standing by the wide glass windows, one hand tucked in his trouser pocket, the other holding a tumbler of scotch. When he saw me, he straightened, his brow furrowing with concern.“Lucy?” His voice shifted immediately gentle.I crossed the room and collapsed onto the armchair by the fireplace, burying my face in my hands. He moved closer. “What happened?”I forced myself to look at him. “I went to see Georgia.”His lips tightened slightly, but he said nothing, waiting f
