Georgia’s POV

My gown flowed effortlessly with every step, the silky fabric brushing against the stairs as I was climbing gently down stairs, making my way down to the pack hall where everyone was already enjoying their moments. Amelia was walking just behind me, her hands gently lifting the back of my dress so it wouldn’t catch on the steps.

“You look stunning, my Luna,” she whispered softly.

I smiled at her words. When I finally reached the bottom of the stairs, I paused for a moment. All the pack members were already gathering.

The pack hall was alive with celebration. Everywhere I looked, people were laughing, dancing to the beating drums, and some were chatting happily with one another while holding cup of drinks as they gulped it all in excitement, requesting for more.

Garlands of flowers of different colors hung around every corner of this building.

Banners bearing our pack’s crest, the image of a silver wolf beneath a crescent moon were draped along the walls.

Leah’s POVThe sun was mellow through the windows, casting a soft gold over the nursery. The twins, Nathaniel and Nathalie, were sprawled across the colorful mat, giggling at each other. Nathaniel had a rattle in hand, smacking it against the floor with uncoordinated delight, while Nathalie was tugging at a stuffed fox’s tail like it had wronged her in a past life. I watched them, a soft smile creeping onto my face and at the same time, worried about Georgia. There was something sacred about their innocence, the way they existed without knowing how cruel the world could be.I adjusted the hem of my shirt and sat beside them, gently fixing the bow in Nathalie’s hair. She squealed and slapped her tiny palms against my arm. “You’re so strong, sweetheart,” I murmured with a chuckle. “Just like your father.”“Or their uncle,” came a familiar voice from the doorway.I turned to see Karl leaning against the door frame, arms crossed, his eyes drinking in the scene. There was softness in his g

Lyssandra’s POVI found Kael sitting alone at the long wooden table in the war room, though no councilmen were present, no maps spread out, and no discussions stirring the air. Just Kael, slumped in silence, staring at the meal that had been set before him. Even the goblet of wine beside him remained full, untouched. He didn’t look up when I entered, and I didn’t speak right away. I just stood there for a moment, watching the man who was once all fire and ferocity now reduced to embers. His hair fell in his face, his jaw tight with whatever thoughts were clawing at him from within.I finally cleared my throat softly. “Kael,” I said, my voice quieter than usual, softened for him. “I… I wanted to offer my condolences. I heard about Georgia.”His fingers twitched against the edge of the table, but he didn’t lift his gaze. “Thanks,” he muttered. “She’ll pull through.”“I know she is,” I said, stepping closer. “But still… I’m sorry. I know this has been hard on you.”I reached across the t

Lyssandra’s POVI sat cross-legged on the rug in the middle of my room, the late evening moon light casting a muted glow through the curtains. Raveena was sprawled beside me.My fingers tapped anxiously against my thigh before I finally reached for my phone.“I’m doing it,” I muttered.“Doing what?” Raveena askers“Googling homemade drugs.”Her head snapped up. “What?”“Not that kind,” I said with a smirk. “The healing kind. You know, ancient remedies… medicinal stuff that might actually help Georgia.”Raveena exhaled. “This is going to be a bad idea.”I rolled my eyes and typed quickly into the search bar: homemade herbal cures for immune system, infection, recovery, disease. Dozens of results popped up, but only one caught my eye, it was a lengthy blog post from someone who claimed to have cured everything from pneumonia to poison with one ancient concoction passed down through generations.“Found something,” I murmured, scrolling slowly.Raveena shifted to sit beside me, her eyes

Raveena’s POVThe evening came so early. I saw Kael alone, standing by the water’s edge of the lake. His back was to me, his posture stiff, hands tucked into the pockets of his coat. Even from a distance, I could feel the storm of silence around him.I hesitated, my steps slowing as doubt crept in.Should I even be here? He had sent me away earlier so now I’m confused whether to approach him.But the guilt clawing at my chest wouldn’t let me turn back. I owed him an apology. And more than that. I hate to see my brother this way. Even though I didn’t like Georgia, I hated the fact that Kael was going through this and I shouldn’t have said those things earlier since it would hurt him.I walked pass the servants who greeted me as I approached Kael. He didn’t turn, didn’t move. Only when I was a few steps away did his head shift slightly, as if he sensed me.“Kael,” I said softly, my voice almost lost in the quiet. The moment he glanced over his shoulder and saw me, I saw his jaw tighten.

Kael’s POVThe thought of Georgia’s name made a shiver run down my spine as I didn’t know how to react to this news. So I hurried out, following Leah behind. By the time I got to Georgia, she was on the ground, limp again, eyes barely open. Leah hovered beside her, trying to rouse her, panic clear in every motion. I dropped to my knees, scooping Georgia into my arms as Karl moved in to help.“Call the pack doctor. Now,” I snapped.“She’s already on her way,” Leah answered, voice shaking.I carried Georgia to my chambers. It was closer than the infirmary, and I wanted her somewhere safe, familiar. Somewhere I could watch over her without interference. The healer, Dr. Emryn arrived within minutes. A middle-aged woman with calm hands and a no-nonsense tone, she moved quickly, checking Georgia’s vitals as Karl hovered at my shoulder. I stood there useless, fists clenched at my sides, eyes locked on Georgia’s pale face.“Heart rate is weak,” Emryn muttered. “Breathing shallow, but present.

Kael’s POVShe wasn’t still moving. Not any sign.I shifted beside her, the early morning sunlight filtering through the drapes and catching on the curve of Georgia’s face. “Georgia?” I called desperately, brushing hair from her forehead. No response. I leaned in closer, pressing a hand gently to her cheek. I shook her lightly. Then harder. No movement. No flutter of lashes. No groggy mumble. Panic rose in my chest as I leaned down, placing my ear against her chest again. Nothing. My instincts kicked in before my thoughts could. I tilted her head, pinched her nose, and pressed my mouth to hers, trying to breathe life into her lungs. I did it once, twice and then the third time.Suddenly, her hands gripped my arms, and before I could react, her mouth was pushing back against mine as she claimed my lips in a kiss. I pulled back sharply, blinking in confusion. Georgia’s eyes were open now, glittering with mischief, and laughter exploded from her lips.“You should’ve seen your face!

Lucy’s POV I could hear the door slam before I even turned to the corner. Damien approached.“Damien? Calm down.” My voice was small, pathetic even to my own ears.“Get in here, Lucy.” The way he said my name, like it tasted bitter in his mouth cut deeper.I stepped into the room and immediately felt the shift in air. It was colder here, always. The thick curtains were drawn, casting the place in shadow. I crossed the threshold and stood near the door, hands clasped in front of me.He stood by the fireplace, back to me, jaw clenched so tight I could see the tension rippling up his neck. He didn’t look at me when he spoke.“You were supposed to have her here by now, it’s been days and you couldn’t do this little task I have entrusted to you.”“I…I know. I’m sorry.” My voice cracked. “There were delays. She’s harder to find than we thought.”“Don’t.” He turned then, his gaze pinning me in place like a knife through the chest. “Don’t make excuses.”I swallowed hard. “I’m doing everythin

Kael’s POVThe sunlight flashed on my eyelids, uncomfortably waking me from the heaviness of my own body. I groaned, tossing on the bed, fighting with the stubborn light that insisted on slicing through my lashes. My head pounded. A dull, throbbing pain spread through my temples like someone had cracked a bottle open on my skull. I tried to turn away from the light, clinging to the remnants of sleep. But then I felt someone lying beside me. My eyes opened in a slow, reluctant crawl, but what I saw made them fly wide open in an instant. Georgia? She lay there, curled slightly to one side, the sheets barely covering her. Her hair fanned over the pillow, her bare back rising in what should have been a gentle rhythm of breath. She’s naked In my bed, next to me.And that’s when i remembered last night's incident even though I can't remember it all. I had laid with her.I sat up slowly, the sheet sliding off my own waist. My heart thudded, once, then again, louder than before. The memory wa

Georgia’s POV Later that night, I made my way to Kael’s chamber. I hesitated for just a second, bare feet pressing against the cold marble before I raised my hand and pushed the door open without knocking. The room was dim, but the reflection of the moon light made it better. The curtains were half drawn. Kael stood near the window, shirt undone, collar open, dark hair tousled like he had run his hands through it a thousand times. He turned slowly when he heard the door creak, brows lifting in surprise. “Georgia?” His voice was low, a little rough. “You are not sleeping. Are you alright?”I stepped inside, letting the door fall shut behind me. The soft thud echoed in the silence between us. “No, I’m not alright.” I said simply and truthfully.Kael’s gaze darkened with concern. He stepped toward me, and that was when I noticed the half-empty whiskey glass on the table beside his bed. The smell of alcohol hung faintly in the air, and when he came closer, it clung to his breath.“You’ve
