Alpha's Stubborn Mate **The Mark**

       Karen's P O V 

I smile as my mate led to the outer room, he brought down the duvet, beckoning on me to lie down. I did and he followed suite before covering up our bodies with the duvet. I snuggled myself into his arms and he holds me tight.

"Goodnight," he mumbled into my ears before kissing my forehead.

I blush at the tone and sweetness of his words. "Goodnight," I mumbled back.

I opened my eyes the next morning to find myself alone in the room.

I sat up on the bed, palming my face with my palms to clear away sleep. 

It didn't take long before I started hearing the sounds of people in front of the pack house, whispering amongst themselves. 

My ears shot up! 

People? Are people gathered outside the pack house? For what reason?
