Chapter Sixty- Amethyst

I woke to Chase kissing my cheek. “Hey, Sleeping Beauty.” He smiled at me.

“Hey,” I said back stretching my achy muscles.

“I have good news.”

I sat up and looked at him.

“Tomorrow morning the twins are coming here. Alpha’s informant is bringing them and his mate back. She wants to join the pack and be with her mate.”

“Oh, Chase,” I threw my arms around him and hugged him tightly. My babies are coming home. “Are you sure they won’t get caught sneaking the twins away?” I asked with concern in my voice.

“No, because we plan to have their encampment surrounded and ready to attack once the twins and the couple are clear.”

“So, that is the plan.” I smile then I think back to the last two times Chase was badly injured. “You promise me to be careful and come back to me.”
