Epilogue Part Two

(Ten years later)

Amethyst (POV)

“Come on kids, you’re going to be late for school.” I say from the bottom of the stairs.

Chase had a lovely home built for us close to the Packhouse. This gives us our own place to raise our pups. I am again pregnant with our fourth pup and our third another son Caleb is on the living room floor coloring as he is only four and too young for school. I am due any day now and found out it is another daughter. We plan to name her Carol. May as well stick to C names. Chase loves it as his name begins with a C. It wasn’t planned that way at first it just happened when Caleb was born.

I suddenly hear the rushing of feet coming down the hall from their rooms and I seem them come in view at the top of the stairs.

“Got everything?” I ask as they come down carrying their book bags.

“Yes mom,” Camron says and kisses my cheek. At ten years old he is almost as tall as I am. I can tell he will be tall just like his dad.
