Camille (POV)

I had no idea what my dad had planned. A marking ceremony with our birthday party? That was strange but now Noah and I belong together. I am glad we had time before the party to mate and mark each other. I didn’t want to take any chances. I was so thrilled when I first came downstairs and knew Noah was mine. We both snuck away as my parents were congratulating us on being mates. I was happy when other came in and distracted them. I wanted to finally give myself to my mate that I had waited so long for.
