Astrid’s POV:

I woke

up in a very vibrant mood and with a lot of energy, and I rubbed my eyes to

focus on my surroundings. I have never had the luxury of getting enough sleep;

I typically only get one or three hours of rest before being tasked with work.

However, this time was different - it was the first time I had slept for such

an extended period.

I awoke

from a peaceful sleep feeling sluggish and lost, as if I had been cut off from

the world for a long time. I was surprised to find that the world had changed

somehow, whether it was the new season, a new hope, or a new strength.

Even if

the world hadn’t changed in reality, I felt I had been away from it for too

long, and it took some time to adjust to the world around me. Recalling the

specifics of the dream I had proved abortive, and awakening after an extended

period felt strange and disorienting. However, it also presented a chance to

begin afresh and welcome the alterations that transpired in the world while I

was away.
