The worst way to treat a Luna

Astrid's POV:

My body grew exceedingly more lethargic as time went on. By the fourth day, my head pounded, I ached all over, and I could barely move. One time, I found the strength to slowly make my way to the mirror. My eyes were sunken, my skin dry, and my hair dull and lifeless. I’d lost enough weight that my gown hung loosely.

I was absolutely dying of thirst, too, even more so than food. My healing abilities seemed to be of no use in making me feel any better, either.

I crawled back to the corner that had become my home, no longer wanting to face myself. My condition was too much of a stark reminder of the position I held in Dominic’s pack. No pack or alpha would treat their luna in such a way, but I didn't expect anything from him. He was a monster. I didn't even want to see his face.
