One: Something is very wrong.
Sebastian was running through a field of thorns.
There weren’t even any roses—just those prickly little thorns piercing into his skin, drawing blood. He could hear a voice calling his name.
Sebastian.
His muscles worked harder to push further. To keep him going. Anything to get him to… to where? It was less of a field and more of a huge bush. Every move he made thickened the thorns, and they went deeper into his skin.
Sebastian.
He bit his lip hard, begging his eyes to stop burning with tears. He needed to get away. He needed to run-

He stopped dead in his tracks. No matter how much he begged his feet to move, they wouldn’t. Slowly, the field started clearing. The thorns started shrinking, till they started looking like…people. The longer he stood there frozen, the more defined the faces were becoming. He didn’t recognize any of the faces, until… Xavier!
