Chapter 8: Cry, Juliet, Cry

This morning’s breakfast has never been unnervingly awkward, but I’m living for the drama.

It’s only a rare occasion that I got the chance to slap Juliet with words. Though I hope I can one day let her taste the strength of my hands with one swift slap.

I eyed Juliet as I gave her a simple nod, one that would say ‘I’m not interested in debating to the likes of you, bitch.’

She seemed to read from my expression as she placed a hand on top of Alpha Cain. “Anastasia is a virgin, Alpha,” she purred. “I’m surprised you allowed her to be a candidate.”

I was about to bared my teeth but Viviane coughed beside me, a subtle warning. I immediately changed it to a nice flash of white teeth instead, grinning like a hellcat. “True. But I suppose it’s a disqualification for inexperienced Omegas like me then...”
