Chapter 5

"Hurry we don't have much time," I said as I took the lantern. 

The door closed as we entered.

~Erics POV~

"Bring her over here" Eric ordered.

They brought a lady who was bounded with chains. She was a witch who was captured by Eric. He uses her for his evil deeds. Meanwhile, Erics' packs had already surrounded the house

"Break the spell," Eric ordered 

"I can't do it with this chain on my hand" the witch replied

"Very well then, release her but hey don't try anything stupid or I will kill you" Eric warned.

Ryan released her from the chains and she stepped forward and began to chant a spell that would bring down the containment spell.

Eric caught sight of a lady who immediately closed the window when her eyes met with his'.

"Faster," Eric commanded

"I can't concentrate if you keep talking," The witch said as she continued chanting. 

Finally, the spell was broken and they rushed into the building hoping to capture Jaden but they couldn't find anyone. They searched the whole house but couldn't them.

"Where are they?" Eric asked in frustration 

Ryan rushed into the room where Eric was,

"They are not here, I think they escaped," Ryan said

On hearing this, Eric turned to Ryan looking angry. His eyes turned red. 

Ryan feared for his life, he doesn't know what Eric was going to do next.

"Bring me the witch" Eric commanded

They brought her into the house.

"Can you find them?" Eric asked

She closed her eyes for a while and opened them.

"No, I can't for now." The witch answered. 

"This house was built with magic. It will be hard for me to break through. I just need time". She added

"How long?" Eric asked

"Two days" she replied

"Two days!!!" Eric yelled in anger

"Or maybe one," the witch said in fear of what Eric might do to her.

"Do whatever you have to, you have till midnight" Eric warned as he walked out of the room leaving Ryan there with her.

~Rhea's POV~

Walking through the passage, we got to a point where there were three pathways.

"Oh, perfect, now what?" Jaden asked.

"Could you just keep quiet and let me think" I replied.

Then I remembered the direction spell which was used by witches when they get lost.

"Oh yes, the Direction spell!!!" I let out

"The Di... What, you know what, just do your thing" he said

"Here, hold this," I gave him the lantern to hold.

I chanted the direction spell and immediately two pathways at the sides shut close. The one in front of us was still open. After we entered, I heard a noise, it was as if the other two pathways opened up again. We walked for what seemed to be hours.

Finally, we got to a door and made a halt.

"This is it," I said to him as I opened the door.

We found ourselves in a market filled with people and it was day over here and back where we came from, it was night. Turning back, I discovered that the door was no longer there. Everything was so weird, it looked as if we just returned from the underworld.

"We have to find a place to hide but for now we need a disguise. By the way, you can't go around looking like that," I said as I chuckled 

"Yeah, keep laughing at me," he said as we made our way into the market.

We made a stop at a shop to get some clothes. It was an old lady that was at the shop.

"Come in, what can I offer you?" The old woman asked nicely.

" Uhm, we just want to get some clothes and we don't have any money but we promise to pay you back when we get the money if that's okay with you" I pleaded with her.

Surprisingly, the old woman agreed.

"Yes, you can. You don't have to pay me back" the old lady said

"I knew this day would come. Your mother used to help me a lot over here but it's so sad she's no more. But anyway, if you need anything, just let me know." She added

"Thank you, ma'am, we are grateful," I said to her

We changed our clothes and were about to go out when I realized that we had nowhere to go. 

"Uhmm, ma'am can I ask for a favor it's kind of like a big one," I said

"Go on dear" she replied with a smile on her face.

"Okay, the thing is that we don't have a place to stay and we were wondering if you could help us out. Just for a night or two" I said with a fake smile. 

She looked at Andy then turned to me,

"The both of you?" She asked

"Yes the both of us," I said still wearing a fake smile.

"That's okay," she said

"Gosh, I thought she was going to say no. But still, we have to be careful around her even though she claims to know my mother, " I thought to myself.

"You have to help me pack up, so we can get going," the old lady said

I looked at Jaden who stood there staring at us without saying a word. 

"Come on let's help her," I said to him.

After we were done packing, she locked up and led us to her house.

OMG!!!

Jaden and I looked at each other looking very surprised. 

Her house looked exactly like my house. We entered her house and when I say exactly, I mean every corner of the house looked exactly like mine. To my greatest surprise, I found my mother's pictures hanging all over her house. 

No way!!! There was a picture of me too in her living room. 

"Who is she, and why does she have all these pictures of her?" I asked myself before I walked up to Jaden.

"Something's not right here" I whispered

"And what could that be?" He asked

"Here look, this lady has my mother's picture all over, and to top it all, she has two of mine. Also, this house is just exactly like the mine" I explained

"Yeah, I noticed" he replied

"So what are we gonna do now?" He asked

"Find out the truth" I replied
