Valerie's POV

I was so busy in the next few days, juggling between my lectures and going to supervise the restaurant from time to time. I would also go for my training with Damien every morning. Klaus wanted me to stop for the period of my pregnancy, but I didn't want to. I felt like it was helping me. My mate was just being dramatic, acting like I would break with every little turn.

I also found time to talk to Marcel. He still wasn't open to me, and I knew that he was hiding something. But something in me just refused to believe that he was doing something to betray the pack. Even though he might seem shady most of the times, I believed that he loved this pack and his family. Or maybe that was me just hoping?

On the other hand, Amelia had just been minding her business and staying out of our way. She even seemed to give me respect as a Luna, which was something I didn't expect. Or was she just trying to gain favour in case she got exposed?
