Solana's POV

"Who the fuck are you and why are you trespassing?" He growled, tightening his hold on my hair, and making me wince.

"Who are you and what is this place?" I asked instead of answering him.

He snarled and slammed me to the ground like a ragdoll. The impact knocked breath from my lungs. Before I could retaliate, he grabbed my hair again, jerking me upright.

I bared my fangs, growling at him. "Take your filthy hands off me before I make you regret it."

"Who sent you here?" He barked, his face close to mine, breath heavy with smoke and alcohol.

I didn't want to fight him at first, hoping that I could convince him to tell me about this place and himself. But that didn't seem like a feasible plan, as all he wanted to do was beat me up.

"I am the Alpha, you dumb fuck." I said, stepping on his right foot, but that wasn't enough for him to let me go.

He smiled victoriously, thinking that he had me.

Wrong move.

I twisted in his hold, aiming a sharp elbow to the side of his neck, an

  • Alpha's regret: Omega's second chance   II-34: Managing insecurities

Solana's POVI went back to the area with rogues, but I didn't go alone this time. Marcel, Gerald, Reuben and some warriors that had shown their support of me went with me.Beta Gerald knew more about them, and he confirmed that it was Ronald that truly gave them permission to inhabit this place, and I truly could not just chase them out.The rogues felt out presence before we got to the buildings, and a number of them came out to face us. Right now, they were six hefty men in front of me, and honestly, I was a little lost for words. The little Alpha training I got from Alpha Niklaus didn't cover the knowledge about rogues. I only know that they were wolves without packs, known for causing trouble.Luckily, Beta Gerald decided to speak on my behalf, as he was familiar with some of them."The Alpha demands that you vacate this place."One man walked forward, a tight frown on his face. "Which Alpha?" He asked, his gaze darting around, but not focusing me.Beta Gerald turned to me. "Her.

  • Alpha's regret: Omega's second chance   II-33: Rebuilding

Marcel's POVI didn't find Solana when I got to our room, and I got a little worried. Then I cursed myself because I should had followed her scent when I came out of my mom's room. I shifted into my wolf to find her, carrying my clothes on my mouth. Our wolves had a stronger sense of smell, and since Solana was my mate, it would not be very hard for me.Just that, I was wrong. She didn't walk out. She used her car. I wish I could send her a mindlink, but unfortunately, I could not as I was still part of my brother's pack. Now I had to trail the wheels of the car and her very faint scent. Eventually, I arrived at a secluded area inside the pack, and honestly my curiosity was piqued. Not just because it was secluded, but because of the eerie feeling that surrounding it. It seemed like a dangerous place, and I wondered the kind of activity that went on.As much as I was curious to find out, finding Solana was my priority. I wondered how long she stayed behind the door and what she heard.

  • Alpha's regret: Omega's second chance   II-31: Trespassing

Marcel's POVI went to my mom after the call, hoping that I could convince her to leave the pack. When I got to the room, I met her on a call, talking and laughing loudly. I focused my hearing, and I was surprised at the voice I heard at the other end of the phone— my cousin, Sofia. Mom had always liked her, but wasn't their closeness a little too much? Or was I overthinking it?She smiled and dropped the call when she noticed me. She was sitting on the bed, but she got up and threw herself around me."I thought she would not let you come to me." She murmured, pouting in a way that was supposed to invoke pity in me."How long do you plan to stay here? When are you leaving?" I asked in annoyance instead."Why are you in such a hurry to see me leave? I told you that I have no other place to go. I want to be a member of this pack permanently. At least, it is closer to my old pack and friends can come here to visit me. Also, I just want to be close to at least one of my children. You know

  • Alpha's regret: Omega's second chance   II-30: A mother's advice

Solana's POVI tried hard not to think of what Beta Gerald said to me, but it was honestly too difficult. Was he truly considering the possibility of me choosing him as my mate? After what he said about still loving Tania? Knowing that I had my own mate here? I honestly could not make sense of it.He ended up telling me that it was up to me, and he was only reporting what the elders suggested, but he seemed like he was in agreement with the suggestion.I told Marcel about it, and he got really pissed. He then told me that he didn't trust Gerald, and he advised me to relieve him of the post. I agreed to do it as soon as I find someone worthy of the post. After we were done with that, we went around the pack as we agreed earlier, and truly, it was needed. We took Lisa with us, as she knew more about the pack. A whole lot of development needed to be done in many areas, especially the residence of the Omegas. It was as if Ronald purposely abandoned them. They were even very surprised to s

  • Alpha's regret: Omega's second chance   II-29: Desire or loyalty

Solana's POVI tried not to let what Amelia said bother me. She truly did not matter in this case, I just got triggered. But I was concerned for Marcel. She was his mother. In the times we spent together back at the Crescent wolves pack, he opened up to me about her. I knew that he loved her and had always protected and defended her, and now he felt guilty for it. That was why I allowed her stay. It would put him at peace to at least see her often and know that she was okay. When he came back into the room, I threw myself on him, hugging him."Are you sure you are okay with her being here?" He asked me. He was just thinking about how her presence would affect me, and not him. He was always thinking of me first."I should be asking you that question. I am sorry that I made that decision, but I...""It's okay. There is no need to talk about it. She is here now, and I will keep an eye on her. If she tries anything against you, we will kick her out."I nodded my head, feeling a little gui
