The next day I got a call from Alpha Finnegan. He knew that an attack from my pack would cause us both many casualties and that I had a much larger pack than his.

"Perhaps we can negotiate," Alpha Finnegan said.

"The only deal I will accept, is that you hand over my mate, my son and anyone else who is captured and deliver me Lenore."

Alpha Finnegan replied, "I can’t do that. Lenore has offered my pack immunity when she has control over all the werewolves. She will never hand the True King over. I might be able to arrange visitation or the release of your mate. That bomb in her restaurant was meant to kill you, her own son. Lenore is not one to show mercy, but I might be able to persuade her."

I didn’t trust Finnegan at all and I would never give up my son so easily.
