Chapter forty-five

Amber’s pov

When Ronin came back to his cell he was looking a lot worse than before. His healing powers were hard at work, but it looked like Doctor Parker had punished Ronin for his misbehavior. They placed Ronin in his bed, he couldn’t move yet. So I had to wait to talk to him.

I laid down in bed as well, resting my eyes a bit. Hoping I wouldn’t sleep to long. I needed to have a talk with Ronin before Doctor Parker got either of us for another test.
