8- Accident

"Where is Jasper?" Aaron asked, stepping inside Jasper's room after noticing Jasper's absence.

"He went outside for a walk, brother," Buck announced.

"Oh, how about sharing this, guys? I brought some for you all too." With a smile, Aaron stretched the carry bag, which had dinner inside.

"Really?" Cody hurried and grabbed it. Bowing politely, Cody thanked him.

"Can you please hear me out?" Shane made an appeal with pleading eyes.

"No! Prove yourself if I'm the only person you would like to be claimed as your mate." Jasper strictly demanded.

However, the touch of Shane's hand over his waist sowed hesitation from getting down. Shane also couldn't resist Jasper's alluring charm.

Shane's leering eyes rolled down and caught a spectacular view of Jasper's sexy-dripping, rosy, perfectly drawn lips.

Just by observing his mellowing stare towards lips, Jasper perceived his feelings for him getting ready to abandon his pride. So Jasper drove his lips forward to Shane as Shane escorted it to him, gradually reading Jasper's desire through nervously blinking eyes.

Their lust-waving, steamy breath mixed. Now it's time for their lips, which were almost touched.

"Jasper!"

Sensing that the loud noise's owner should be Aaron, Jasper pulled back his head, rolled aside, and stood up, exposing his presence to Aaron unknowingly. As Shane sighed exasperatedly, giving a piercing stare towards Aaron through the bushes, Jasper adjusted his shirt. Still unaware of Aaron's suspiciously narrowed eyes.

"What are you doing behind the bushes at this hour?" Aaron asked, stepping towards him as his skepticism cautiously scanned through the gap of bushes's leaves.

"Jasper was stunned with shock, breathing heavily as his heart fluttered without gaping.

Acknowledging the risk, Shane pushed Jasper away by kicking his leg.

Jasper came to Aaron and dragged him away from there quickly, blabbering, "It was nothing. I just stopped there for a moment thinking about something else."

Yet, Aaron's doubtful gaze didn't turn around.

Jasper grasped Aaron's jaw and twisted it towards him, forcefully dragging him away from there as fast as he could.

Luckily, Jasper brought Aaron in front of the dorm without getting caught.

"Don't go near bushes at night, Jasper. It's dangerous." Aaron advised him.

"Okay. Why are you here suddenly?"

"Um... I gave your friends the leftover food I cooked for you yesterday. They must have finished it by now. Here is your favorite bun. I brought it on the way from home." Aaron offered him fresh buns.

"Hmm," Jasper smiled prettily and softly.

Aaron drove his hand behind Jasper's head, gently pushed it forward, and pressed his lips against his forehead before saying, "Take care. Bye!"

Jasper returned the kindness with a broad smile.

Then Aaron left.

As Jasper watched Aaron leave, Shane came near him and kissed him on the cheek, earning a gawped look right away.

"He must love you a lot," Shane judged, smelling the fresh, hot steam of the bun Jasper had.

"Yes! You can't beat him." Jasper challenged confidently, closer to Shane's face.

"Let's see!" Shane accepted his challenge, flashing self-assertive.

Jasper returned to his dorm.

"Sorry Jasper, we finished all the food your brother gave." Buck and Kai informed him as soon as he entered.

"It's okay," Jasper said and went to his bed.

The next day, on the campus, Belle ran to Shane while Shane and his friends were coming along the campus and held his left arm, asking, "I want to taste an Americano with you."

Kade, Fork, and Kaisen headed towards the classroom, leaving them to have privacy.

"Americano coffee?"

"Yes!" She nodded enthusiastically.

"Okay!" Shane nodded and veered around to leave campus.

But when he glimpsed the campus gate side, he stopped right there.

Confusion pulled a long face on Belle. She steered her sight in the direction where Shane was looking nervously. She spotted Jasper and his friends were coming on their way.

"Let's go!" Belle dragged him, flaring a disgusted glare at Jasper despite Jasper walking past him as if he didn't see him.

"Tell me if he bothers you again, okay?" Belle builds courage into Shane, not knowing the truth.

"Hmm," Shane nodded. There was guilt floating through his tone, witnessing the innocence that Belle's heart held.

After the class, Jasper picked up his books to leave. Kade pulled him down by his wrist and made him sit closer to him as much as their side thighs could clash on each other's.

That tugged out the discomfort-shaded shock from Jasper immediately.

"Kade," his voice was like a whisper as soon as Kade interlocked his hand gently without permission.

"There was no one here, just sit close with me." Kade requested. It was more like a flirt.

Jasper's body buckled nervously as he dictated breathlessly, "But it's so close..."

"Oh, sorry." Kade apologized right away, sliding his butt away.

Only then did Jasper's voice return to its back, "Thank you, senior."

However, Kade seemed a bit disappointed.

"Kade!" Fork came running, shouting. His voice scattered with the anxious.

Jasper pulled his hand off Kade's soft grasp, dropping edgily darting eyes at the floor.

Another disappointment shot at his heart like an arrow.

"What?" Kade raised his voice at Fork.

"Why are you yelling?" Fork lowered his voice immediately, portraying pitiful eyes.

Jasper chuckled softly, rewinding the joyous inside Kade.

"What?" Kade asked calmly, showing a smile.

"Shane is bleeding. He was admitted to the hospital." He delivered it shortly.

Jasper's eyes widened with fret as Kade unseated instantly.
