Before I drove to Human City, I wanted to stop by the restaurant where Leia had planned a date with Eric. As much as I wanted Leia to date no one, I couldn't impose my feelings on her when I was engaged to other women. Who was I to meddle in her life?

As I entered the restaurant, many heads bowed to me in respect, acknowledging me as their Alpha. Leia's eyes stared at me, as if my appearance captivated her. I felt happy that her attention was on me as I made my way to their table, and my wolf was happily purring at the attention.

"Alpha, what brings you here?" Leia asked with a dazed voice. Although I wanted to stare at her beautiful face, I had to keep my emotions in check, as many people were around. Even though they were pack members, you never know who could be a traitor in my pack and leak information to our enemies about my interest in Leia.
