Taking out the spies
Melanie's shadow rushed towards her body and merged into it to become one again. All the knowledge her shadow gathered for the past one hour merged into Melanie's mind.
"Oh no," she whispered garnering the attention of Thea and Amber. Ophelia and Max left with the sentinel duty. As Melanie cannot function a hundred percent without her shadow, she was left under the care of Amber and Thea.
"What happened? Is your Shadow back? Did it bring something?" Thea asked anxiously.
"We have a problem. Baraka is suspicious. She gave gold coins to a dark creature to take care of someone before we reach there. We need to alert the others" Melanie said hurriedly.
All three of them rushed towards where Darius and the others are holding a meeting about how to go tomorrow to search for Odhan.
Melanie first approached the trash can in which Baraka threw the pouch, from which she used the powder to mix in Odhan's soup.
