Is she loyal?
As soon as Baraka said those words, Odhan's eyes popped open with surprise. He did not hear anything, but how can Baraka hear Melanie's thoughts? he thought in confusion.
"Baraka?" Odhan stopped her when she was about to go and look under the bed.
Baraka stopped her progress and looked at Odhan who is now awake and is looking at her strangely.
"You are awake?" Baraka looked uncomfortable.
"Yes, I just woke up" Odhan is looking at her closely.
She breathed a sigh of relief when she heard him say that he is awake just now. So he didn't hear her slip up, she thought with relief.
After what Melanie told him, and what he just saw her doing, Odhan too became suspicious of Baraka. His heart ached with betrayal.
'Are you loyal to me Baraka?' he thought in his mind looking at her closely.
