“T-thank you.” she managed to say. Her eyes searched the room for Kaye, as she had come to the shoot with him, but he was nowhere to be found. She wondered where he could have gone; they had been together just a few hours ago.

“Behind you,” her manager said with a smile. She turned to see Kaye standing there, holding a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.

“Happy Valentine's Day, babe,” he said, smiling warmly at her. She pulled him in for a tight hug, overcome with joy at the surprise. How had he managed to slip away without her noticing?

As if reading her mind, Kaye said, “I know you're wondering how I was able to pull everything off.” He chuckled. “Well, yeah,” she replied with a laugh, still curious about his plan.
