"Thank you for making me meet the family, I really appreciate it," Bazyli said to Alyona as they entered the house.

"Don't mention it, Baz. It's about time you met them anyway. They've been wanting to meet you, especially Zeke," she smiled at him warmly.

"Zeke seems like a great guy. He really cares about you, Aly. It's nice to have a good friend like that in your corner," Bazyli complimented. As they walked further into the home, Alyona headed toward the kitchen area.

"Let me grab us a bottle of wine and some glasses ," she said.

"Sounds good," replied Bazyli. "So how do you and Zeke know each other?" he asked, curious to learn more about Alyona's childhood friend.

"Zeke and I go way back. He's been my friend since we were kids. He was always there for me during the tough times, and he's still here for me now. I don't know what I'd do without him, honestly," she smiled fondly at the memory.

"He must be a really loyal friend. It's nice that you two have known each other for
