Who is calling me so urgently as if l stole something? I frowned at the angry voice of whoever it was as l sluggishly went to open the front door of our apartment. 

Paaa a slap landed on my right cheek the moment I clicked the door open. You slut who gave you the guts to speak with my husband about my affairs with Wilson. 

My cheek is in pain but discarding it,l looked at the person who just slapped me. Rachel our neigbhour. She really got the balls. 

I felt really angry about what she just did to me. Not only that but also the accusations she is putting on me. 

You don't have any right to lay a finger on me. My mum never did that who do you think you are? Paa l slapped her back.

Rachel was over taken by that but l ignored her raged face and told her;

I don't mind other people's business. Whether you cheat on your husband or not l dont care it's not in my position to tell him. 

This stupid woman just annoyed me. I happen to find her and another guy who isn't her husband kissing. I didn't tell anyone not even my mum. So one can't blame if am feeling this wronged. And the slap well she deserved it even more. 

Daciana you destroyed my marriage and then went a head to hit me back. There is no way am letting you go. Rachel retorted back as she lunged towards my direction but l was fast enough to avoid her. 

Because she used alot of energy in coming at me, she hit her forehead on the concrete pole near the balcony that separates our apartments. 

But this woman is crazy she didn't care about the blood from her forehead and wanted to fight me instead. You can't go away with this you slut. And that insult was too much for me to receive from her. 

I felt that l needed to bit the hell out of her. She came for my hair and l laughed a typical fool and a weak person only knows to grab hair while fighting. I let her think that she succeeded in hurting me. As she was insulting me more, l gave her a back kick. I felt that it touched her stomach. She scored down and groaned in pain. 

I wanted to bit her more. I don't why l feel energetic that she is no much to me. Am just 18 and am sure she is in her late 20s.

I have been pissed off since yesterday mum told me that we are moving to Arizona. I dont want to move. Now this idiot come up with her crap, l couldnt control myself. 

Daciana what have you done to her why are you two fighting in the first place. I heard my mum shout on her lungs as l looked at Rachel mockingly. 

Seeing my mum, Rachel was the first to speak of how l destroyed her marriage but saying false words to her husband. And l think mum got it in another way. 

What were you doing with a married man Daciana? I didn't see my self raising your to separate families. Why..... 

She didn't tell me anything. A voice came from behind us and cut mum's questions off. 

I gazed being to see Richard. He is Rachel's husband. He then continued;Miss you are blaming your daughter for nothing. Your daughter and l dont even have a conversation together so when did she tell me that my wife as been un faithful to me for the last two years? Don't remember employing her to be my spy. 

I see Rachel looking pale. And mum look towards me. 

Richard are you sleeping with that girl why are you defending her. Rachel snapped

Richard looked at her as of seeing a real fool. The guts of some people. I heard him mutter. He took out his phone and gave it to Rachel. The only thing l managed to hear are the voices of a moaning woman and a groaning man before my mum pulled me away from there. 

But Richard told Rachel to apologize to me. I waved it by saying that the slap l gave her was enough. Mum hold my hand back to our apartment. 

I don't know what happened to the two of them after that because the following day we moved. 

I aimlessly wondered around the woods.It has been a week since we moved here in Arizona.l saw the woods the day we arrived here and it would be a lie if l say that l wasn't attracted to it. I wanted to explore its beauty but at that time l was very tired from all the works we didn't in the process of moving. So l promised myself  to visit the woods any time soon. 

The woods have got a relaxing atmosphere. There is no doubt that Cassie and Max would also love it here. I left them. I didn't want though but there was nothing l could have done when mum have already decided that we have to move. 

Am missing them like crazy but there is nothing l can do about it. They promised to visit but will happen after three of four months from now because school is still running for them too. 

I still remember their sad looks when l bombarded them with the news of our moving. Cassie even went a head to avoid me for a day. But later explained to them that mum is the one whose so adamant to move this she talked to me again and even took me out for two days. 

And Max on the other hand was very understanding like how always he is. He has never given anyone of a headache. He is just a simple guy with his carefree style. And l found my self loving it. He is such a nice friend. 

But my mum was gluesome about the moving thing. So at the end l had to compromise. My mum had always been patient and thoughtful about my all demands. She would do anything that l ask of her. And sometimes she comes up with ideas on various things. She never forced me with any of them even if l reject what she came up with. But on this moving thing, l realized that she had a good reason for moving here in Arizona. Athough she hasn't told me about it yet, l do believe she will with time. It's not like she kept secrets from me! Like l said we are just the two of us. We got each other's backs. 

I also miss Washington. I mean l grew up there mostly the only place that l know. But for some reasons unknown to me, l found this area of Arizona that we have settled beautiful. It's as if l know or l ever lived in the place before. That l do belong here. In the beautiful woods and it's  sorroundings.lts sounds unnatural but hey that's what l feel.

It has been only a week but l was already familiar with our sorroundings. 

The  deeper l go into the woods, the more l found them very beautiful. I could smell different scents of different things such as flowers, roots of trees and anything. I don't know why  but the moment l turned 18 two week ago, l found my self with a heightened sense of smell. I don't know if it's a good thing just have to live with it anyway.

Birds flying from one tree to another carefreely enjoying themselves. Also got attracted by the beautiful sun flowers. Well they are other flowers around but l can only recognize sun flowers. They are being waved by the wind making its subtle scent full my nostrils as l scotted down to observe them. l touched it to feel its soft yellow petals. 

I was about to pick a few up when my phone rang with its Katie Perry fireworks song that l set as a ring tone assaulting the serene environment l was in at the moment.

Somehow annoyed by its sound, l had nothing against the caller. So l picked it up. 

It was a call from my darling  mum inquiring about my whereabouts. After informing her that am on a walk in the woods, her voice panicked and ordered me to go home immediately. OK replied her, took  look at my sorrounds before l muttered am coming back beautiful woods. I left the woods back home.l was recluatant to go but l dont want to make that beautiful woman l call mum worry about me. 

My mum was pacing from one corner to the other probably not in a good mood .When l entered the house, she respired  a sigh of relief. The agonized look on her pretty face also disappeared in no seconds. 

What's wrong with you why are you like that? I questioned her.

Look over there Daciana. This place isn't safe at all. You can't be moving freely, anyhow in the woods especially when you are alone.Mum said sadly again as her figure pointed at the TV for me too see the news. 

I looked at the TV and there is news being broadcasted about a girl of sixteen years being brutally killed by un known animal at night. Her throat was godged out without any mercy at all. No wonder mum had panic in her voice earlier.

I can't even imagine what can l do in such a situation.l mean myself standing on front of that animal that is ready to take my life.

I felt sorry for the family of the deceased girl. Okay mum l will be careful not to walk in the evening alone. I said putting my butt on the sofa.

Whatever Daciana just don't make me worry to death.. I will be serving dinner in a few. Mum replied to me as she left for the kitchen. Promise sweet mum. I told back. She just waved her hand not turning to me.

The images of the girl attacked by an animal were making me want to puke and even more scared this l changed the TV channel.

In no time mum served dinner. We ate it in silent and afterwards. I watched the dishes. We spent some times in the living room. At around 9:20 l went to prepare my self for school tomorrow.

Later mum came to check on me and ask if l needed anything more for school. After she confirmed that everything was settled and l lucked nothing, she bide me goodnight and she left. I also slumbered few minutes after that.
