Clearing my throat, I assumed a grave demeanor, signaling the significance of my words. "Prioritize the search for information about Amaryllis's family," I commanded my voice resolute. "Especially her mother. I need to know what has become of them." I knew that Zixin has the capability to swiftly gather information regarding her family.

"I shall provide you with a detailed report once I have uncovered any relevant information," Zixin assured me dutifully, his commitment evident in his response. "If there is nothing else, then I shall take my leave." I nodded in acknowledgment, granting him permission to leave. I watched as he exited the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
