Amir was unhappy, he'd thought she'd warmed up to him. He even thought she loved him. He missed the nights he'd spent with her but she had hurt him with her words. It kept ringing in his head
"But I'm not, I want to get rid of this child, I'm not ready to be a mother and there's no way I'll give birth to the child of my captor"
He stayed away from her for fear that he might do something wicked to her. But in his heart he had no doubts that he still loved her, but he'll have to be careful so she does not do something stupid, especially as the wedding would soon take place.
